But that's already obsolete. We're talking about +showbudgets now.

The wireframe pattern suggested by ATM seems popular. If there isn't any objection, we'll stick with that one.

we have a t-shirt printing establishment here in Arkansas i know about, the wireframe thing would be pricey.. you guys do know that, right?

i am not to much concerned however, so keep me posted on the results as they progress.. as long as, they do not exceed 20-30 bucks.. i draw the line at a 30+ dollar t-shirt, no matter the good intentions. :P

as far as that goes, why not have our founders avatar on the back.. it speaks mounds in dedication. :/

I actually considered that too, but the graphics might make little kids cry. Besides, I want to wear something that's relatively good-looking.

What about the phrase "Mappers do it without leaks"?

Obviously, I like the idea, but not the particular wireframe image. It was the only one I had on hand on my computer, and saw it just as a placeholder. There's got to be some cooler wireframe shots out there of some more complex geometry (but not so complex that it's just a crowded mess of colored lines).

In other words, does someone have a cooler wireframe picture we could use? Unless nobody cares either way?

Orpheus, as for cost... would it be cheaper if the image is only black and white?

"Mappers do it without leaking"? or "Mappers can plug any leak" "Old mappers are like poorly made maps, they leak" :dodgy:

and who gives a rats ass about little kids, this is a 17+ game after all .. besides, have you never seen the inside of a diaper? that makes me cry. smiley

How about something simple... Like an enlarged picture of a snark? And then "snarkpit.net" printed on the back? All this wireframe-ness talk is crazy!

What about plain old

image

? Though if anyone wants to dig into the HL1 HD pack and take some screenshots of snarks then go for it... But of course there's a worry over the snark image being property of Valve, so might have to be something wireframe/leak related I imagine that a wireframe mousepad would kick ass.

Satchmo your missing the point about what I said about someone saying it was stupid... I'm taking it as a general comment from the not knowing people in the world. They think it looks stupid- so I doubt anyone will get that cute hawt chick coming up to them lol! I think just plain old Snarkpit is best. Maybe put just a little snark on the bottom right on the back.

for what its worth, i do not like the idea of the word snarkpit on a t-shirt.

it is a borrowed name, and it is not what makes us... who we are.

i would not stand in the way of any idea, i am just voicing my thoughts.

we are a group of mappers dedicated to our leaders site continued existence. we are not a collective of snarkpitters.

Wearing this T-shirt says: You are a mapper, gamer, male, and enjoy Half-Life. And true gamers'll notice the subtle significance of the numbered coordinants.

and just for fun I made these for MAPPERS WITH ATTUDE. >>>

I still vote for the plain old "The Snarkpit" logo complete with a snark, provided we are able to, going by Lep's concern.

Some really cool designs. I'm not as set on my wireframe idea anymore. I plain black Tshirt with a simple snarkpit on the front may be the best bet. But now I want a wireframe mousepad!

Valve is a pretty cool company, and there's a good chance if we asked them if it was alright, they'd let us use the snark logo as long as we weren't going to start selling them commercially. Besides, Valve has always been more fond of the headcrab than the snark.
