Wow, I thought I stated it clearly enough when I said it, but, what you said cleared up my own thought process for me. Thanks. :P

In case this have not been said on the topic about the Doom movie: it will suck.
The Doom movie will not be set on Mars, Phobos or Deimos.
The Doom movie will have nothing to do with hell, the monsters are there because of a virus.
The Doom movie humans are not the space marines from the Doom games.
The only thing they have in common is the name, "Doom".

A movie about Half-Life 2 wiht gordon would be horrible, but if it
would be based on the hl2 enviroment en follows a charter that
spoke(scientist, combine, rebel etc.) then i think it wouldnt turn out
that badly.

there is a Hlaf-Life film scheduled for 2006 on the IMDb but it has absolutely nothing to do with the game i think its about some kid and his sister who escape their home life through imagination or some crap like that

Who should play Alyx? Jennifer Garner? Halle Barry?
Jessica Alba? Thandie Newton? Or *gasp* Angelina Jolie?
I know who should play Eli...Morgan Freeman.
What about Gordon? Johnny Depp? It's gotta be someone who is kinda nerdy looking yet cool at the same time.

You guys, seriously, you're worse then casting directors.
Have you ever thought that it'd be a better idea to find "unknowns" to play the parts instead of casting A-List actors all around and trying to force them into the roles?
Also, Suicide Kings is pretty good (that's what that picture is from) and yes, Walken would be great.
Az, dude, Charlie Sheen is a terrible actor, no way around that s**tty acting of his. Sure, he looks the part, but come on. You can make almost anyone look like the character you want. That isn't the problem.

Didn't I make a thread not to long ago on who would make the best Gordon Freeman? Yes I think I did.
