Sorry for the new thread, but I didn't want to put this under the old "here is my idea" thread.
The project is ready and I already have 9 people signed on. I'll post updates as they come along here.
If you dont already know what the map mosaic is you can find all the details here:

you can see how many mappers are working on any given area
here
Madedog, keep up the work, I'm sure I'll get more people to work on Mosaic 2 (I plan on being one of them) I also just may mix and match, lets say area 1-10 are done and there are 4 mappers working on area 1-4 respectivly. If it doesn't look like more people are going to sign on then I'll release Mosaic 1 and then Mosaic 2 with the 4 new areas and 6 old areas.

Same here, I think I'll have enough time for one room.
It's looking promising my good Dr, you've got it really well organised. My congratulations.

if anyone has an idea for a custom prop that would go well with their theme, and isn't too obscure (so it can be used by other people elsewhere too) or complicated, then i'd be up for having a go at making it.
if anyone's interested, then remember that the better the reference pics are, the better the chances are for the model to be made.

The directions on the site are quite simple, and Area 8 has been taken.

there is no real start or finish, you can pick up the area you want to
map from the web site and start on it when ever you feel like it.
Once your done, send it to me.
As more and more people send me the diffrent areas I will begin to put them together in one map. Once I finish the one map of 10 rooms (that will be mosaic #1) I will put any left over areas into that map, once I have enough areas I will put the 10 new areas inthe the map and that will be mosaic #2

Allow me to take area 7 for *cough* the imminent second mosaic . Being a "very hard"-to-make area I can't imagine too many people fighting over it.

indeed, that one has the most hits. If you really want to do it, then do it, I'll figure out a way to get it public.
I think area 7 is the most popular becuase it is the most unique. lots of gates, lots of space.
