I always thought that yoda was such a slow little bastard... I never would've thought that he is so fast and cool <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

This new one almost makes up for the first and second movies. It was definately on par with the original trilogy and should have been how the first two new movies should have been made, for a more adult audience.

My biggest complaint was the extremely cheesy and annoying droid dialogue. It was unnecessary and just made it less realistic, as its more likey battle droids wouldn't talk unecessarily, just kill.

oh god yes.

Y*E*S!!!.. My favorite part in the last movie.. I know some complained about it, but that sequence alone made it worth my money.

Yoda was always my favored Muppet. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/heee.gif">

What were everyones favorite parts?

My favorite scene was the conversation between Palpatine and Anakin at that theatrical water show thing.
Actually, my favorite parts of the movie were whenever they were together, without the talking in the Vader suit, of course.

The main two things that piss me off about the prequels are:
A) Metichlorians, what the f**k? Seriously.
B) Yoda not training Obi-Wan. I mean, I like Qui-Gon, a lot. But, that was always kind of annoying. But, it makes sense why they had to add him.

Oh and as good as the Clone Troopers look, they should have made actual costumes for when the troopers didn't have the helmet on. It just looks bad when Temuera Morrison's head and Ewan McGregor are the only real things in the shot.

WOOOOP

My favourite bit? I'd guess the second half of the movie. ^_^

I have many favorite bits, but my favorite of all is still the Yoda fight sequence. I especially like how he walks in on Palpatine and slams the guards into the wall.

My least favorite was the dialog between the bots. Battle droids have no dialog, they go forth and either destroy or are destroyed, they do not converse. :/

My most annoying moment, Yoda can levitate Mount Everest, but he cannot keep himself from falling several stories to the ground?

Forgetting everything you read in the books aren't you? The overall presence of the dark side is no longer being masked by ?the lord of the sith?, if you didn't notice, that's why Sidious looks that way not because he "hurt" during the fight between him and Windu, he was acting for Anakin's sake.

Don't you remember them talking about how Courisant just had a hideous feel to all Jedi in the books? Because that's where they start the new republic ... ringing any bells?

Also, if you remember, Palpatine tried to take over the senate before and failed. No one remembers, in that realm I mean. But they do talk about that. I guess everyone was too busy bashing the other movies to pay attention to the dialog. :P

The dialogue did have too many cheesy slapstick one-liners. Things like droids about to get smashed to pieces by an elevator saying "uh oh" instead of simply getting out of the way.

I saw it today and agree with the overall comments here that Episode 3 is substantially better than Episodes 1 & 2, and given time may well be seen to be on par with 4-6. Thankfully they focused less on dull political intrigue, drawn out and clumsy love scenes, explaining everything several times for those who have only got a 5 minute attention span, CG filler, etc. Not to mention much less of kiddie-pandering elements like Jar Jar Binks. It also helped that they told Hayden Christensen just to look dangerous instead of giving him too many long lines to speak. :o)

Ian McDiarmid did a sterling job as Palpatine/the Emperor too and it was good to see him get quite a lot of air time. A favourite scene of mine was seeing how his appearance changes when Mace Windu dies.

The only elements I thought Ep 3 doesn't have which Eps 4-6 did is a 'lovable rogue' character (like Han Solo - the characters in Ep3 are all deadly serious) and more banter/bickering between the characters (for instance in Star Wars there is a lot of this between Luke/Leia/Han Solo and also R2/C3PO).

Why didn't they do the famous Darth Vader tune at the end when he walked up the aisle? <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">

I liked the movie, but am still haunted by the annoying Vadar scream at the end - that one should have hit the editing room floor.

It was a great film and it had the most action imo...

Yeah, his "noooooooo" scream was more like he's just dribbled coffee on his shirt not that his missus has just snuffed it. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

They also clarified that "she seems to have lost the will to live". After her love turned to the Dark Side and almost killed her himself, she's lost all hope.

It happens in real life. Have you heard that spouses frequently die within six months of each other? Even though the other spouse is healthy, the surviving spouse can die literally from heartache.

I find it quite odd how Anakin/Vader could predict his wifes death and Obi being at her death, but not himself being there. Surely if you were to be as clever as he is supposed to be you would know that taking the path the emporer chooses will not stop it.

It is certainly the best of the new trilogy, but still is lacking when compared to the original. The main problem is still there is no decent non-jedi character. Still no Han or Lando counterpart to balance things out. Also with all the CG, the lighting really bothered me, especially in the city. It just didn't blend naturally with the characters and "real" environment.

Personally, I think, they should drop the Phantom Menace(excuse:Lucas was on his period or something...), do some merging of the Phantom remains and Attack, that would be the first movie. The merge part of Attack with Sith, that'd be the second. Finally we make a third one where Vader's in the suit just kicking ass and taking names.

Spoiler Alert: Actually one of my friends was waiting for Mace Windu to go Pulp Fiction on Palpatine's ass.
