The BBC have described this as "(spoiler:George W Bush Google Bombed", hence the title

However much you loath/despise/hate/fear/disdain these men, none of them can possibly be classified as a miserable failure. Two of them are/were presidents of the USA. No matter how much you may think they f**ked up the job, they've still done astronomically better in life than you ever will by any objective material standard. The other has made a fabulous amount of money as a film producer. Not quite as impressive, but still a far far more indelible impact on the world than any of us will be able to claim on our death beds. Think about that before you lash out at any of them in an infantile attempt to make yourself feel larger than the microbe you evolved from and still largely resemble.*

They aren?t really good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one tumbles down the stairs.

Success is an entirely subjective concept. Therefore, I naturally chose the most common definition within our society.

It's true Money, I'm not lashing out at anyone in particular. I'd have to go back and re read the thread to know what comment sparked that outburst. The point is, neither you or I is in a position to judge any of these men, and I get sick of it. The subjective nature of success or failure guarantees that judgment of another's level of "success" will always be a worthless personal opinion confined by your own small (I'm referring to everyone here, myself included) outlook on life. There are times when these judgment calls are required for us to carry out our civic duties or in directing our own lives, but it is only so much swill (in my small personal worldview) when spewed about at random.

Seriously, to those who haven't tried it, getting a two word phrase to point to one place is ridiculously easy. It took three people to googlebomb my friend with the phrase "pitiful monkey". A one word link though? That's something.
