[edit:for not fot]

My coat is gone!

Sounds like nothing, but its a great deal to me. Last night I got absolutely out of it and neglected my poor coat. Its gone. I went to the bar this morning to retrieve it, and some idiot has lifted it. GOD HELP THAT PERSON IF I SEE THEM.

Its a 3/4 lenth leather coat I've had for about 4 years. This sounds like nothing but the fact is that I was bound to that coat. I was always 'creepy leather coat guy', now I'm just creepy.

Every woman I've ever slept with was pulled primarily because of the jacket. I've had no success with my leather bomber, or leather blazer (Its not a fetish).

I truly feel like something has been ripped out of my life. I hadn't been wearingit of late, since it has been nice weather.

Any suggestions as to what to wear, (given that I wear that type of coat...)...??

EDIT: I FOUND IT, ON MY FLOOR, BEING THE DOZY c**t I AM.

[EDITx2: I THREW IT OUT.]

You can edit the heading Mephs <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">

change fot to for <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

Being an idiot I still can't see where you do that. However, I found [the coat] but, ironically put in in the rubbish. My short parting (although it was literally beside me the whole time) showed me that I was far too attached to it. I seriously don't know what kind of coat is 'in' now, though.

I guess this shows you to take more care with it.
You should keep it safe in a cupboard with your name on it and maybe an adress <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Read Habboi - he's binned it :P

I'm in a similar situation with my jacket. Its a fairly pricey vans snowboarding jacket that was bought, primarily, for snowboarding, but that doesn't stop me wearing it loads. Odd thing is, a good portion of it is the colour orange - not exactly a colour I'd typically wear. Its not garish or anything, in fact I'd say it looks pretty damn cool, but I've got myself a bit of a reputation for being "orange coat guy" <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

If there's one piece of clothing I wear entirely too much its my gray hoodie. I feel most comfortable in that thing, like I'm ready for anything.

It wont be GONE till the binmen come, which is three days time. I'm getting real urges to fetch it out the bin, which is quite sad. I didn't realise how much of a hold a bloody item of clothing had over me untill now. Still, I'm glad I lost it, only to refind it, that's an unhealthy attachment and one I'm better cleansing myself from.

Oh I misread, still I grow attach to things and this sounds stupid but my TV was getting old so we sold it but I sort of wanted to keep it. Strange really...

That's true, fishy, but it also means less wierd stares when I walk down the street or try to get into bars. :P

I have taken it out of the bin, but I shall now get a good home.
I'm never wearing it again, instead it shall hide the nakedness of an American student/tramp in need. Aren't I Mr. Genorousity today? (shoulda said it was haunted and looks a bit like Cher, then flogged it on ebay for a mint)

Anyways, what shall I wear instead of a really long leather coat?

If someone nicked my leather coat, I'd...probably...do...something about it.

Yeah!

You should send me your coat if you don't want it, Mephs... I'm naturally creepy but I'll never achieve my full creepy potential without a monstrous leather jacket.

One day you'll know what you're talking about, I can hardly imagine

I have a similar attachment to my pocket knife. The blade is a good 4" in length and people generally look at me askance when I whip it out to open a bag of chips, but I'd feel downright lost without it.

Some people are like slinkys...

They aren?t really good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one tumbles down the stairs.

I dont know if I have anything I'm really attached to like that. I like some of my stuff but I really only care to hang on to things becuase in the back of my mind I think that I'll need them some day.

I supose the only things I really care for are my computer's D hard drive (it has all my Pictures, music, and website media), and a small green lighter with an elephant on it that I found on the ground in NewYork.

But I dont have any object that is part of me, something that would make me whole... and honestly I dont think I really understand that feeling.

The only inanimate object that I truly have an attachment with is a tiny feather pillow. I cannot sleep without the damned thing. I hurt my back years ago and sleeping is a pain.. literally. I look for any creature comfort I can to get what little rest I can.

Before you laugh, try sleeping with an eternal lower back ache.

I'm attatched to my watch and my skateboard. I got my watch 2 years ago in Florida, it was about $60 American, Fossil. The only time I've ever taken it off, is well, every day to take a shower. But other wise I haven't taken it off. My skateboard I got 1 year ago, and have since gone through 5 different decks (the actual board itself). Once I got my backpack that could carry my board, (11 months ago) I take my board everywhere. I'll throw it in the car or take my backpack no matter where I'm going. I once got it taken away for a week for skating at school, and I went mad.

'Tis all. Have fun kids!
