I saw this ad from a Yahoo site. I just couldn't resist. It turned out to be a site that has continuous streams of advertisement for TV shows, movies (some sci fi film with Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder), computer games (Chaos Theory). I was just hooked and semi-hypnotized until I forcefully yanked my hand and clicked the close button on the browser.

Does it strike anyone else as sadly ironic that they are using slim super-model types to advertise fast food?

Some people are like slinkys...

They aren?t really good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one tumbles down the stairs.

That advertisement reminds me of something. I was looking through a friend geek gadget magazine today and I didn't even see any gadgets. At first I thought the magazine was a Maxim when I saw the cover. They also had two almost naked women playing in a tub of cake together. Don't get me wrong. I was aroused but I didn't get what it had to do with gadgets. Advertisements these day are confusing.

You get the geek gadgets and then the ladies play in tubs of cake in your backyard (sold seperately).

One day you'll know what you're talking about, I can hardly imagine

Or ate it while shooting random slutty glances all over the place as you wash your $500,000 sports car?

adds just throw as much s**t at you as they can to sell their product.

BOOBS, CARS, MONEY, SEX, CELEBERTY, then... "buy firestone tires"

Its all part of the systematic rape of culture.

STOP right there..

I use only Firestone tires.. and have had nothing but excellent results. You can imagine how many sets of tires I go through, so I know what I am talking about to some extent. I have had excellent life from them really. The SUV crap that happened was a design flaw in the Ford, not the tires.

anywho's.. I have gotten as much as 140,000 miles out of a set of 65,000 mile tires, and am currently working on 80,000 miles out of an 80,000 mile set.. they tires still look almost new as far as tread depth is concerned.

/ rant.

That wasn't a statement about the quality, I just think their TV adds dont sell their product. Hell, your story would make me want to buy their product way more than some model holding a tire or some guy sitting on a tire using a laptop computer...

the only problem with steam updating things every week is it doesent give the developers an incentive to playtest thier work, so we do it for them

I think the best ad is from Family Guy;
