I was starting to get the hang of it tonight. And then the program crashed.. hey its a demo.. I think this will be my Next purchese.
I have not been able to fly very well.. Maybe with a game pad or joystick I can fly better.. I tend to crash a lot. now Tanks and Dune Buggies I have a blast in.
And yeah the Boats pretty cool.. I was also doing that Cass.. The guy kicked me for it off his server.. lol oh well.
The Single Player is pretty good too. Your team mates will rearm you if you ask, and set up mines and what not to protect capture areas. Good AI.
I was clinbing that huge tower andsniping and then jumping parachuting down.
I think they did a great job. Much better than the original. Cant wait to see the full game and the new maps. Do you think they will have a map generator, or anything?

Yes, its all part of what will be the BF2 Editor.
http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/editorial.jsp?src=communityupdate_020405
Thats a preview of what bf2 editor will do, it does everything, vehicle and object coding, animation tweaks and, of course, level editing.
It will be release either a few days before, or at release.
There will also be tools to support 3dsMAX and MAYA.

Maybe because its a member of this generation of video cards, where as the Ti is a previous generation card. Ah well, just means I'll have to upgrade a bit sooner than expected.

Ok I've played the demo now. But is THIS BF2? This game looks 100000 times better in the videos and screenshots. The game is ok but the graphics aren't hilarious even in highest LODs and resolutions.
(Just remember how cool the helicopter cockpits were in the trailers - there is a massive difference now in the demo)

I love it, it's much better than Vietnam wasnt a big fan of 1942 though. It's now securly placed at the top of my got to get list. The only problem I'm having with it is that it crashes whenever I try to view the servers but it works fine when I just do the single player mission.

About the video cards, it needs to support ShaderModel 1.4, GeForce 4 series' are only ShaderModel 1.1.
I also like the idea of Lep supporting BF2 mapping on this site " SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">
I've been mapping for the BF engine since 2002, and always felt BF needed a mapping site like this, it has always been a thing the BF community has been missing. A friend and I back in 2003 were gonna start a site based off the same idea as this called the BattlePit (heh heh) but it fell through due to lack of motivation - we preferred to map than maintain websites, heh.

Gimpthesink, your welcome man.. yeah I love it too.. im getting it for fathers day.. or around that time.
yeah I hope LEP will support the game here. I am in the process now of setting up a web page for modeling.. have a person coding the page now.. so Im told. If LEP feels that it would be to much of a burdern for the snarkpit.. i can see what I can do to support it on my space. As always I would work close with the Snarkpit to help both our sites and communities.
