There's a little tab next to "manage accounts" that says "retrieve account"

Oh and MS... so you have AIM or IRC? I don't have MSN...

Its doen through GameSpy, if You are entering a Nickname you have used through GameSpy, the password and email adress have to be the same as that nickname on GameSpy.

Well I'm heading down to the computer fair this weekend, hopefully picking myself up 6800GT if the price is right. Then its BF2 time!

No shader model 3.0 support on this generation ATi cards though - the wise money is on the nVidia's this time around :P

So the 6800 is more advanced? News to me..

I like both cards so its no biggie which I'd have, assuming I'd buy one.

It supports a newer version of shader technology, but to be fair there are only about two games out at the moment that can actually use it. Give it a year and there will be far more.

I was reading about ATI's new chip.. (after you pointed out that the x800 is not best) and I was flabbergasted at the speeds they are claiming them to run in the next generation.

Thanks for that info about the pixel shaders Reno, I had considered getting a Raedeon, but after doing a bit of looking around I set my sights on the 6800GT, or if I can't afford it, the 6600GT actually performs pretty well and is significantly cheaper. I'd probably just wait till I can afford the 6800 though.

6600GT is a very good buy - if I were to be getting a card in the near future, it would be the one (unless a price cut brings the 6800GT to around the ?150 mark).

You should thank Sloth as well, he posted a guide that helps tweak and get the most out of the BF2 demo.

My name is AddictedtoMorphine in BF2... so keep an eye out.

We need to find a server that we can all play on together.

I ussually play on 64 person servers with no time limit.

I am almost always Special forces, im pretty good at takeing out any thing with C4.

I think the server is called ***Devils***. It's run on a 64 bit Linux Dedicated server thingy. It was friekin sweet! 64 players on, and under 70 ping. I got in with one squad that was reallyt good and it was awesome. Great server, but I'd expect often quite busy.

Well, I don't want to revive an old thread, or one about the demo, but at the end here we were talking about good servers.

That is an awesome server, 64 slots, usually around 60 players on, under 200 ping. Sweet.
