That's why I only have a dad, my dad always had a crumy job meaning he would always be away, either working at night, or being away for 6+ weeks at a time, and now that he ditched my mum for some polish ***** he call's about 1 every 2 months, if that.

My Mom was single, and a married man who lied to my mother knocked her up, and another man my mom was dating married her and adopted me giving me his last name. So yes Im a sorta basterd.. but I got over it. As I see it the dads that dont stick around, have the biggest loss, not the children. Make something of yourself, be the best you you can be, and be proud that the SOB doesn't get to apart of your greatness...
And Orph is right.. anyone can be a dad, but it takes a real man to be a father.
