Next week Orph will be passing though my city, lucky him he will be here during the week of 100+ weather. And get to see how ugly this place really is, and why I want to move so badly. Ok the Mountains are nice.. and there is some nice stuff here that I will miss when I make my escape.

But this is really about meeting the man the legend.. Orpheus.

I will take my camera with me so I can get a couple shots of him and I together, and I will post them on my Blog for all to see.. that is if its ok with Orph. I will be glad to finally meet this man. Being that he and I are around the same age, it will be good to talk in person about nothing and everything. Im married so I dont have many out of the house friendships any more.. most of the people I know have moved as far as they could from here.. cant blame them really.. so a chance to talk shop with an on-line friend in person is always very cool.

I went out and bought some Pork Ribs to cook, for him to try.. hope he's hungry. TEXAS BBQ!

According to google maps from my house to San Antonio Tx it is.. 558 mi (about 10 hours 20 mins).

If you have never been to san Antonio, you have to do the river walk. The alamo is also a cool experiance, but if you do that its mandatory that you visit the WAX musem across the street.

But I am also planning on moving to Corpus Christi TX.. and that would be much closer, if you wanted to visit.. about 143.8 mi (about 2 hours 24 mins).

There is some stigma associated with meeting, in person, young teenagers you talk to on the internet <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif"> I can't imagine any parents giving permission for their kids, at least until a certain age, to go meeting up with strange men from the internet <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Unless they all meet at a LAN party or a gaming cafe. Meeting at private homes does carry some stigmata.

Sad but true. Our world is not an innocent place, and we have to be vigilant.

Whenever I have to examine a teenage girl, I'd make sure that the mother is in the same room with her. This way, the patient won't come back ten years later and accuse me of molesting her.

I've heard of pediatricians going to jail for stuff like that.

Speaking as one who has met the man, you won't be disappointed Money. Orph is a solid guy, very much the same has he presents himself here, as he has stated numerous times.

Some people are like slinkys...

They aren?t really good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one tumbles down the stairs.

Somehow I doubt Orph will do a run on his job to England, let alone Hertfordshire lol!

All the doctors get a newsletter every three months or so that prints out all the "bad" doctors who had been disciplined by the medical board.

Some of them have been accused of molesting patients (most frequently, psychiatrists). But most commonly, physicians get in trouble when they abuse the health insurance system. They overbill and try to scam the system.
