Some people are like slinkys...
They aren?t really good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one tumbles down the stairs.

Day of Defeat Source is coming out this summer (hopefully). The reason why
they pushed it back farther was to make it more than just a port. They
are also adding in HDR to the game which is a lot of extra work.

We can't really say its a lot of work to add in HDR, as we don't
currently know how its implemented. I personally wouldn't expect it
would involve much work at all to slot into a game once they have
already added it to the engine.
Warlok, we have heard news on DoD:S since then, in fact every second steam update news makes mention of it. As Spartan said, initially it was going to be a pretty straight port of DoD, along the same lines as HL:S rather than CS:S. They decided to be a bit more extravagant and improve the visuals, so this involved remaking all the levels, weapons, sounds, characters, effects, etc... While it is kinda frustrating having to wait so long, it will be a better game for it, so I think we just have to be patient and expect great things
