So how hot is 100f?

Feel free to post it in celcius and kalvin, both are fine.

Only curiosity:

If the enviroment temperature is 103 F. / 40? C. then what's the cpu core temperature ? It must be damn high.

Right now, here in my city it's 28? C. (82.4 F) and my cpu it's 53? C. (AMD XP 2800) idle.

=)

i think i'd be glad to see a bit of rain if the temp was over 100, though it should take a few more years of global warming before i see any weather like that in Scotland.

Its a hot rain. not cool at all. The rain has not cooled the air or the temp one degree. It makes this normally dry heat, a much more humid place.. and our SWAMP coolers no longer work to keep us cool in these conditions, so we sweat like a class full of uce cold cola/beer.. beads of due running races down our brows/backs and any other long smooth surface on your body.. you peel out of your cloth coverd chair, only leaving a very wet spot behind.. the computer tempture rises because its so damn hot outside it cant seem to pull any cool air to cool itself off.

Your Ice melts really fast watering down any drink you had next to you while surfing the net, mapping or playing games.

It rains for like 15 min. and stops.. leaving only the humidy behind... if it rained 5 min longer the city would flood. I have pictures to prove that too.

Oh for the World who refuses to get with the American way of doing things.. 103 degrees F. is 39 Degrees C. and 313.44 K. Feel better now? I dont.

O.o

I've no idea what temperature it is in Leeds, UK at the moment, but my AMD 3200+ Barton's been on 100% for the last 5 days (I run SETI@home) and it's never gone above 46?C.

Although I do have a CoolerMaster Jet7 on full, a 120mm fan on the back, one 80mm fan on the side and two 80mm fans on the front... <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">
