I know some of you must have some. I myself have a NES,SNES, Genesis,
and N64 emulators. I have a crap load of ROMs too. If anyone doesn't
know what a emulator is, it is a program that acts like a old school
video game console on your computer. A ROM is the games for it ^_^.

was the only game they ported to it and it ran in 12 fps on a 3 ghz and
with no network...
I've herd that the PC and the Xbox system are very equal so i wonder why there aren't working emulators for it yet..

They are, it's just that everyone who'd be willing to make an emulator is too lazy/scared to backwards engineer an xbox and it's bios to recreate it in a software environment.
Then again, if you know how to do that, you probably wouldn't waste your time with it. And to not get sued you have to use the "clean room" technique, and be able to prove it.
Only professional companies do this, so. (Remember Bleem?)
Honestly, I'd like to get some more ports from newer arcade games for Mame. Make some joysticks and set up a pay system. Got a tv, build a frame and some pos computer inside, and I'd have my very own multi-use arcade machine. I could probably build a sub in the bottom of the box too so it shook your ass off, make some sort of cylinder cannon thingie.
Raptor, they're not "equal" they're the same thing. Same architecture. I just wish more people really understood what that meant.

Theres a PS1 emulator- PSX i think its called, and an Xbox one that only plays Halo and Turok Evolution. The Xbox one also only works when you download the ISO, which on Xbox DVD's is written in reverse, so if you want to copy an Xbox game you have to lan up your Xbox and copy it from that over a lan.

Let's see... I have wine, psx, and WinUAE.
Wine is not quite an windows emulator, but close.
Psx is a playstation emulator.
WinUAE is an Amiga emulator.
Until later...

I download MAME every once in a while and play Metal Slug with friends. WinUAE is cool too.
Still, nothing beats the real thing. Too bad my Amiga broke down.

I have the Atari, Coleco Vission, and Commadore 64 ones.. Its funny
when my kid comes in to use the PC and its a C-64.. he has no clue. My
favorite game is a lil game called Sword of fargoal for the C64. There
are others that I like alot too.. but that game was made by a friend of
mine and it used key characters for monsters, and it had many levels to
a dungeon, I guess it was the first Dungeon crawl game ever.. even
before bards tale and the rest.. but like I said it was very very
basic.. but lots of fun.

If you like rremakes of games here ya go..

HELL YEAH! they have LODE RUNNER! that was one of the very first games you could make levels for.

Is microsofts laywers hunting here in sweden to? If i knew how to make an xbox emulator i would do it! And what's the clean room technique?
I think i know what you mean with the same architecture, the hardware is built the same (busses/cpu etc..).
I have burnout 3 for Xbox on my PC. If only i knew how to port it...

I think that someone from a differnt contry, like sweden or germany and
such should make an xbox emulator. Just because its all the ay around
the worl i guess. If you know wnayone that could, have them make one
and post it on some cheap ass free web hosting thing then give us
snarks the URL for it. If we dont tell any one we could have a Snarkbox
emulator ^_^

I use Znes to play some old games I like. Most of the games I played
when I was a kid were DOS-games (my parents never gave me any console),
so I don't need a lot of emulators.

Xbox isn't just a PC, its like Mac's, because they know the hardware config they can code specifically for it, unlike PC's which have to take many things into consideration.
I think you'll find coding an Xbox emulator extremely hard without the Xbox SDK used by software developers.
