here in seattle (the second part of my holiday) i only have access to a pentium 3 490mhz, 128 mb ram, and only integrated graphics. i seriously doubt it will run hammer or have the ability to compile anything. am i right? cause if i am ill have to remove my map until further notice.
but just in case there is a chance ill post.

that was my question but this system has strangely run sim city4 and mechwarrior 4 when it just shouldnt have so im still in doubt. i think that ill just download steam and get all my games and try it.
edit: its not integrated graphics is matrox millenia but that makes little difference anyway

That should definitely run Hammer, seeing how my P1 166 mhz + 64 megs of RAM ran it. Maybe not for HL2, though. :o

I compiled my Source maps on a Celeron 1.1 GHz with 256 MB of RAM previously. Sure, it took a while, but it worked.

well satchmo that 1.1ghz celeron is comparetivley super-fast to what im forced to run on at the moment. just finished downloadinh hl2 through steam im going to try it out and see if it works! wish me luck!

i guess ill just try to compile without running...
i still dont get how this same computer could run sim city 4 (the only game ive ever played on this particular pc before)
