Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.
Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'
Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
And here's the kicker...
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.
Creepy huh? Send this to as many people as you can, cause: Hey,
this is one history lesson people don't mind reading

But, yeah, that's creepy, if it's all true. It is, however, a series of coincidences.

Slavery wasn't what the civil war was about, it was just a perk. Had there been no slaves at all, the war would have still come about.
Civil rights however, were not the motive either.. If I recall, It was Northern greed. The south was the money source, and the north didn't want them to become financial independent OF the north.
At that time in our history, had the souths textiles and such not been processed in the north, the money flow would have dried up leaving a mini depression up there.
In other words, the rich of the north sparked it to keep the south "in their place"
Independence of the south took years afterward, so in the end, the north got its wish.
Bottom line, the civil war was driven by the north, by inflaming the youth of the time into thinking they were losing their preferred life style.. The north, the ones with the cash anyways, didn't give a rats ass as to how many slaves were "owned" ![]()
Consider a correlation today. Religion is dying, at least in the US.. A few discontents are sparking hatred in an attempt to gain sympathy and for the old concept. The bulls**t about the words "under God" being removed, and the "10 commandments" being removed from this or that is bulls**t of the monumental kind.
Most people couldn't care less about either yet a very vocal few keep it stirred up in the hopes that they will gain popularity enough to retain them.. When, if they hadn't brought it up in the first place, they would have had no worries at all.
Its like, 10 normal/straight/white people get killed daily in a given region and no one notices, but let a black or gay person get killed and it makes the front page.. That is not a racial or prejudiced comment, just an overall observation.. The vocal minority always uses discontent to get noticed. " SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">

Has it occurred that maybe the assassin of Kennedy knew all this, and planned it all in this way?

Both Presidents were shot in the head.
More similarities:
In each case, that Friday was one before a holiday.
Lincoln was shot on Good Friday and Kennedy was shot on the Friday before Thanksgiving.
Both were seated beside their wives when shot.
Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'
More similarities:
Lincoln sat in Box 7 at Ford's Theater. Kennedy rode in car 7 in the Dallas motorcade.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Unfortunaltly this is not true. Lincoln had two secretaries, John J. Nicolay and John M. Hay.
Read more about it here.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
This is almost true.
Booth was born in 1838 and Oswald was born in 1939
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.
Yeah what a kicker
The problem is that Marilyn Monroe died died August 5, 1962 and that was over a year before the assasination.
I could add many more things but i assume you could just use this link:

Lots of ways to explain the coincidences. Johnson is a very common name, and so is the name "Lincoln" and "Kennedy".
There are lots of warehouses and theaters around, and these are good places to hide and blend in. So that's not so shocking.
No one mentioned that they were both dressed at the time they were shot, because that's expected.
I am not so impressed by the coincidences, but they are interesting to note.

Coincidences occur all to often. A series of them is however unique.. This one qualifies as such.

I dont doubt that more of that isn't quite true.
I see this as another case of people finding pattern in static.
