The Game I am really waiting for, and I hope lives up to its hype is Dungeons & Dragons On-Line. just think with out D&D we would not have games like EQ, WOW and the rest.
I enjoy WOW, when I get board, I jump on HL2, CS Source, or BattleField 2. When I am feeling creative, I jump on Hammer and work on my maps.
There is something about WoW that draws me in.. I have Dark Ages of Camelot, PlanetSide, EQ, Linage, and a bunch of other MMORPGs, World Of Warcraft is one of them games I can jump on do a quest and log off, or log on work on a trade skill and log off.. I dont have to log on spend a day and a night question to get anything done, like most other MMORPGS.
This post was for the other people who may have WOW and play.. I have discoverd 2 others on here that play already, and thought there maybe more of us out there that may want to join up and be the Snark Pit Crew and hang out in a commen game we share.. So if you OWN WOW, are thinking about getting WOW, there are players here that have it and would be more than happy to show you the ropes, and like to hang and quest with you in the World of Warcraft.

I thought it was decided that WOW couldn't be played by a snarkpit "Team" because of its regions??
I mean, if you cannot play on the same servers, whats the bother?
More likely, I think you should post your region and see if anyone wants to play in it... It would be awful to buy WOW in the hopes of seeing some Snarkpit members, only to not find them due to the location of his abode. " SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">

Orph the way it works, is when you log on the game ask's you, do you want to play on what servers you want to play on US Or EU?
But once selected you can play on any server in that region. Of course I picked the US servers since I am in the US and would get the best ping rates to them.
the Servers I mainly play on are, Thunderhorn as Alliance, Bloodhoof as horde.
My Main is Blackbeard a level 47 pally, and Panterro a level 20 druid, on thunderhorn. On Bloodhoof a level 30 Shaman..
I know there is one other, here that plays with us, but im thinking he is on the EU servers and not the US ones..
If you have x-fire, I am known as cbmoneyshot, and you can see if I am playig or not with that program.

Check it carefully MS. I heard you can only swap regions a limited amount of time. Why else (besides pings) would no one swap more often?

I think people don't switch more often because 1) it takes a while to get a high level character and mainly 2) pings would be horrendous for all your loot-harvesting needs.
I play on Azgalor (horde) with a bunch of my co-workers, though not many of us have time to play much at the moment.

I dunno what DVD player regions are Andrew. The only DVD I know are movies. I wasn't aware of any game with the name DVD, or I assume it has players.
I however am not sure about WOW. I don't have the game. I am just saying its best to be cautious if its checked out.

I know that, but whats it got to do with a game? Is there a game referred to as "DVD"? "WOW" is short for World Of Warcraft and it has players too.
I cannot fathom the reference between a DVD disk being played. It has to be a game of some type.

kungfu squirrel was making a reference to regions in WoW and regions for DVDs. it has nothing to do with a game.
by the way i would play WoW i just refuse to pay to play a game. ill pay to buy it but not to play it.

your last bit there is EQ (Everquest) sure that makes the same game with a 2 on the end?
Edit: you should realy look into EQ2. its a game that not realy that repetative. (well depends how you look at it, but it doesnt feel repetative to play)

You can choose to create characters on any of the US realms. I have a few on Kilrogg (but its too far away from me so I migrated to Thunderhorn with MS). Once you've created a character on a certain realm, as far as I know you're locked in... but if you were to buy the game you could start different characters on different realms to play with different people.
Rereading that I'm not sure I was being clear. But your only worry about choosing a realm would be finding one that's fast for your location.
My human pally on Thunderhorn is up to 29 now.

The Tauren have that Stomp ability, and Warriors have the ability to do that charge that stuns the target for a few seconds while you pummel it...
So You could rush in stun, pound, away, as it starts to fight back, stomp.. stunning it yet again while you finish it off.
besides out of all the other races tauren have the best str in the game a 25 starting.. with gear you can get the Agility and Str stats high fast and be a real force to be reckoned with.
I used to own a Cyber Cafe, with 20 computers, I have had just about every MMORPG, FPS and popular game at one time installed and played in that cafe.. so from an gamer insider, EQ was the least played of all the games.. I sold 2 copies of EQ2.. the rest I could not give away.. I traded them to EB games for more WOW copies, all of them sold. So from that point of view and being someone that has tried it.. I can say with out a doubt it sucks. ( as for EQ, I played it, it sucks.. simple as that.. I have EQ2, it also Sucks.. simple as that.. So please spare me your EQ BS.. thanks )
Now please forgive me while I pass out.. I just got done building an addition on my moms house.. its 1am here and I am beat..
