Yeah; righty right.

Alyx is by far the most realistic character I've seen. I just got her confused with Lara Croft I think. It's been a while since I played HL2 the last time. I apologise for that.

Thank you Cash Car Star and DrGlass. You guys are really atop of it. Now I can sleep well.

Going back to DrGlass saying about personality and looks- I think statistics showed that people judge you by your looks within 7 seconds, and to change that opinion takes along time.

Personality is judged within 30 seconds I think until there is a major change (but thats usually done from viewing a video or something, not speaking to someone for the first time- 'cus that gives a different view).

Oh and that girl- she looks between 12 and 15. She doesn't have curves yet. When you get to my grand age you'll spot a woman quickly rather than a girl

I wouldn't say her breasts are too big! She just has a good posture and supporting clothes Obviously you have not seen the real world of boobs yet! Now the woman you play in that god aweful mod eclipse- her boobs are definitely big, but still happen in real life. But then again- do you really want ugly people in games? Would you rather choose the big breastes blonde woman of the ugly old lady? And which do you think Valve prefer making?

I go to uni with a girl that looks JUST like alyx, except with longer hair. It's awesome. Also, does anyone know the name of the girl that they modeled Alyx from? there is a real person, and she's hot and I wanted to find pictures but i can't find them again 'cause i forgot the name.

Myrk- I agree with the lack-of-curves analysis on "that girl" but girls didn't get boobs til later (age 15/16) in my day. and none of them dressed as scandalously as they do these days either. So I was missing out at that age.

Exactly.
I thought so when I first saw her... that she was like 18 or something.

I like her though... unfortunately I'm prolly never gonna see her again. Perhaps, only if, then on MSN.

Anyway, She is REAL cute and looks real adult-like, although her vocabulary could really use an improvement. It really belongs to a teenager.

Anyways, even if you saw her and talked to her, you could never actually tell she is 13. But she's the perfect woman I've been talking about. She doesn't smoke (has a very pure and clear voice, singing and all), doesn't drink (disgusts it, when told), and - apparently, doesn't do drugs. Anyway, I'd really like to know her better... She also has a very proportional body. And it actually seemed as if I liked her... And the feeling was mutual.

So... I think I'm really gonna miss her... Those spent-together 10 hours are really great ones...

it was either that or give gary glitter a shout, and see if he wanted to join in, but i think michael already made it clear as to what i seen in the original post, and it's context on these forums. for the most part, good sense and maybe a little modesty have veered the thread in a direction that it probably wasn't intended to take, and if my highlighting my concerns at how certain actions can fit certain profiles has had any impact on that, then i'm happy.

Regarding that 13 year old... you really can't ignore the fact that a camera can show what you want it to show if you know how to treat it right. Some of those pictures definitely make her look more mature than 13 (although like Myrk, I'd still spot her for no more than 15-16ish), but different shots could give a different impression entirely.

not always true. there were girls in my school a year ago who were 13 and just as mature looking.

I'm not talking about photoediting. I'm talking about lighting, and angle, and pose, and framing, and the precise second at which that shutter shuts. They don't look shopped to me, all though she looks like she overdid it on the make-up in a few.

The things that reveal someone as younger are more apparent in person - lines in the face, their walking cadence, how they talk, that sort of thing.

Well of course thats true. Barbara Steisand only lets people interview her in her own homes interview room, specialized to get the right lighting and capture only a certain angle of her face. I remember seeing the guys from South Park trying to get an interview with her :P

She is smart, intelligent, talks very maturely.. if you spoke to her, I tell again, you would NOT make the difference.
