And now the nasty admin has deleted what i said, and accused me of promoting paedophilia, and no-one can see what i really said, and they will all hate me, and the courts said that a little conversation about what makes those baldy little weeners hard wasn't paedophilia, so how can you?

I suspect the gamer behind the Michael Jackson identity is a well-known SnarkPit member who frequent the forum often. I dig the sense of humor.
...and Michael, why don't you call Liz Taylor and cry on her shoulder like a little boy? You got her on your speed-dial anyway.
But make sure you put on your prosthetic nose before showing up in public.
Bringing the thread back to topic, anyone think this is sexy?

can you show me where i've promoted paedophilia, and tell me why it should be a taboo subject? it happens all over the world, every day, and a standard opening gambit employed by paedophiles is to ask what a child finds sexually arousing. i should know.

Has it occured to you yet MJ that no-one cares about what you're what you saying. Quite frankly if all you came here to do was be an asshole then i strongly suggest suggest you f**k off before i hunt you down.

I agree satch, my first guess of MJ is some one who is trying to make a point and getting shot down by the same people he his trying to protect, or not...
I learned what I know from observing the relationships of others (I dont mean watching peers have sex). I think that is what should be taught, not how to have sex, but how to have a good relationship.
The problem with kids having sex is becuase 99% of relationships in junior and high school are based on lust and not love. If parents taught kids how to have good relationships and schools helped kids with their social skills it would help alot.

its right here:
conversation about what makes those baldy little weeners hard
i really dont think that is appropriate.
and 'why should paedophilia be a taboo subject' ? that is just a stupid question. i dont care if you are a long-time Pitter in disguise this is a no-go subject and suggesting its alright is sick.

I think what got this thread off to a bad start was the use of the word "fetish". To one person it might refer to what areas of a body to you like to look at, to another it means what disturbingly kinky and possibly unhealthy and illegal ways do you like to go at it.
I think one of the things that screws with American sex ed is that (at least when I went through it) it tries to be both completely frank and very guarded at the same time. To give an example - they try to speak very frankly about how erections are a natural part of life, but every diagram of a genital is just that - a crudely hand-drawn diagram. One particular topic that makes this really awkward is circumcision; you can't for one second say that the sketches possibly convey the information as well as a photograph. But hey, our teenagers can't handle pictures of genitalia. I can tell you right now, if a teacher had to display an overhead with a giant photo of someone's parts, the only resultant display would be one of laughter, not wanton lustfulness. I've heard America's sex ed has just gotten worse since the Republicans have gotten ahold of everything though - federal funding only goes to abstinence-only teaching and so on.
Oh, and my parents were terribly unopen. I'm 22 and I still would feel ridiculously uncomfortable even mentioning the subject with them. Their idea of having "the talk" was to sign me up for an after-school course and that "then I'd understand everything."

What republicans/religion doesn't seem to understand is that they cant stop kids from having sex, all they are doing is setting "sinners" up to get STDs and have babys whice, ironicaly, could not be aborted if pro-life gets its way. Thus repeating the cycle.
I see it like this, there are three kinds of teens. Those who have sex, those who cant get sex, and those who wont have sex. If schools started handing out condums the kids who have sex would be safer, the kids who cant get sex (like I was) still wont have sex, and the kids who wouldn't of had sex in the first place still wont have sex.

I don't think passing out condoms in high schools is the correct answer either. I mean, it's still illegal to be sexing it up through most of high school in most states (quick note, the age of consent varies from state to stae, 18 is just the max). We can push for better sex ed, but I think anyone that publicy campaigns for a lowered age of consent is going to face a harsh personal backlash, so I doubt that cause will be championed anytime soon. We still shouldn't turn a blind eye to how to be safe.
Here's an analogy that I came up with and find decently suitable: it's illegal to drive a car until you're 16 in Connecticut, but there were numerous programs to teach safe rules of the road to youngsters. These things included immediately applicable knowledge, such as staying out of the middle of the street where it's dangerous, and knowledge that wouldn't be useful for a while, such as which is the gas and which is the brake or what different road signs mean. Obviosuly, the comparison breaks down the more you pick at it, but hopefully you get the impression of what I'm saying. The idea is to teach the safe rules of the road.

The entire "separation of church and state" is so that religion isn't given as a reason, but it is certainly a topic of debate. Evolution is gone into great detail during a high school biology class.
Health courses are rather lacking though. I think, honestly, they should get parental permission from all the students and just show them what each STD does in the most common case. I remember in my health class they showed a video of a child's birth (the baby end, mind you) and there was no backlash.
However, the American PUBLIC school system is fundamentally flawed, just because it will never be able to please everyone.
I've had talks with a friend of mine on how we'd make a badass school that would blow public schools away. You can easily have people leaving "high school" with an associate equivalent based on the amount of time they waste.
Then again, schools would be better in general if everyone actually cared about their jobs. Also, sadly, they specifically do things that pissed them off in school ... why not change the teaching method?
