Btw... those lyrics translated would be...
For small and big and families new
For you, for friend and loved who all is ahead
For women, men and estonians and else
For musics, mechanics, sellers and homeless
For nations strong and proud of minorities
For sad figures and happy moods
Forgiveness of hoping ones and winners bringing it home
For you for me, for everyone
That was a Coke commercial song.

It's definitely not Russian, but I wouldn't compare that to Italian. It sounds so different from Italian or Spanish.
I might upload something in Mandarin Chinese later...

Anyway, if you want to COMPARE a language to Estonian, you'd rather take Latin.
Oh, an... how did you like those songs?

I'm giving you "accent experts" some homework.

This song contains BOTH Estonian and Russian. Can you make the difference?

And I'd say you speak english with a slight accent, but meh, it sounds good, so what. Actually, I think it "sounds nicer" when people speak with an accent.
Now the next step would be you singing something in Estonian.

i think i can tell when its russian and when its estonian. is the russian when they seem to talk more in the throat (well like when you got snot in the back of your throat and you blow in your troat to get it to your mouth to spit it out thats the sound im talking about. what the hell is that called?)
edit: i think i got that wrong. but im still sure i can tell between russian and estonia. i cant really describe it but is the second speech made in the song russian?

Each word has only one syllable, so it's unlike almost any other language in the world. But when native Chinese speakers converse fast, the string of characters tend to blend together.
And here is some sample Chinese characters below:

It says "Why do you want to learn Chinese?"

I go to an Australian university, so I cant go a full day without hearing someone speaking Chinese. It sounds cool.
Not as cool as Estonian however " SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

Anyway, indeed - the Russian one was the one after estonian one. They were coming one by one.
And when you stopped understanding my speech... I am actually speaking faster than an average Estonian. Actually I might think about speaking as fast as I can and recording it...
Now, I'm not gonna SING. I can't sing so well, and even more behind a microphone that sucks.
Oh, and here is another example of the distinguishable difference between Russian and Estonian.
http://www.madedog.pri.ee/files/mp3/accent2.mp3
Ah, and here is another excercise for you. Can you define the place when Russian comes in? If you can, you have successfully passed
http://www.madedog.pri.ee/files/mp3/noizmakaz%20-%20suitsetaja.mp3
Now, finally something for your pleasure
"Ja kui te enam mu k?nest aru ei saanud... ma tegelikult r??gin kiiremini kui keskmine eestlane. Tegelikult v?iks isegi m?elda sellest, et r??kida nii kiirelt kui ma saan ja siis lindistada see."
And then i spoke the same in english
"And when you stopped understanding my speech... I am actually speaking faster than an average Estonian. Actually I might think about speaking as fast as I can and recording it..."

That Estonian is quite nice, I admit.
I was thinking 'bout uploading some German/Bavarian music. That's quite nice also.
But Madedog; actually you could try and sing a little. Maybe some "Amazing grace" or whatever would be fitting to your voice pitch.
In someway Estonian reminds me of Danish.... Although I can't really tell why.
Somehow I can't tell anything; as far as I can tell.....
