I wasn't picking on you, so stop being so defensive. The age comment was something I've noticed in our country, so don't take it personally (basically, people younger then 30 or so really don't watch the news, for whatever reason. Personally, I don't watch it because it isn't "news") My point was that Media perception is pretty bad thing in this regard and that's most of what you and everyone else has seen. I never said you were ignorant, actually. I even said that wasn't directed at you. smiley

The reason I said anything at all about your post was because you didn't say something along the lines of, "He looks like he could be a terrorist lol" (and I'm not trying to tell you how to talk, I'm just pointing it out to explain myself). But you said, "He looks like he's [part of] Al-Queda". Which is about 3% of the Arab world, if you were wondering. That's not a real figure of course, but it is the perceived perception. However, through the media, specifically in American, they portray it as there are only a handful of citizens that aren't part of this organization.

Surely, you can see how that can be taken not as a joke, right? I was just pointing it out, and wasn't taking a pot shot at you.

And, I've never looked at your profile as far as I remember, but the age comment was because I knew your age. I was just telling you it shows in your mentality. That's all. It's not an insult or compliment.

Now explain to me why I had to write this post which spawned from a single sentence? Because the second sentence in that paragraph (if you can call it that) isn't directed at you, but rather a general comment ... which, again, I stated. I stated it for this very reason, so you wouldn't get offended, because that wasn't my goal.

Ninjas suck.. Shaolins are better :] (I know Kung-Fu)

BUT yeah... It's cool to see that a guy like me (a computer freak) sees a guy outside computers

Okay, Madedog, here's a nice piece of advice: don't f**king lie! You know 10 languages, know kung fu, and know ALL SORTS of other stuff. I bet you're james bond in disguise, aren't you? AREN'T YOU!!!!!

I'm over 30 and hate watching the news. IMO the only thing worth watching on the news is the weather, which is about as accurate as a broken watch but more reliable than anything the news reports any day of the week.

There is no history until something happens, then there is.

Yeah... i must have a user everywhere, methinks..

Oh, nickelplate... Hard to believe? Or you are jaleous? <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif"> I'm not James Bond, but that doesn't stop doing and knowing all of this. I've never thought of everything as a whole... I've always actually taken only small parts of it when considering what I do know. But if you take it together... well, yea, it can be a hard to believe. It is not hard to believe that I know 10 languages or I know kung-fu or I know loads of other stuff, but all things together.. yea, I understand it might be a bit difficult to believe. But I can assure you, it IS possible <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

No, his name is Indrek.... And he is from Estonia. James Bond is James Bond and is from America/England. Also, James Bond has fun gadgets.... Madedog has a grandpa that can fly...

But I wouldn't mind putting Madedog out on a mission to save the world from a giant meteorite about to hit earth. I mean the dude is amazing. plus he can walk 300 yards in 2:30 minutes.

MADEDOG SAVE US FROMT HE METORITE!

James Bond, from America?! Thats crazy talk; he's an MI-5 agent, English to the bone. But then Connery really is bond, and so that makes him a fair bit Scottish too <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Stop this nonsense, both of you.
I'm not james bond. Even more I'm not from heaven. "I'm a reasonable, sane human being... with an m44 magnum, the most powerful handgun on eaaaaaa....."

Anyway, I am a man of many sides. I'm a puzzle. I'm a rubics cube in pants. I know lot of things, which might feel unbelieveable at first, but once you get to know me... you really gonna miss me when I'm gone <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Sorry for my poor Jame sBond knoledge also. I only play the N64 game. That game is probably the king of all multiplayer FPS games. It was the first, and the best.

The first?! Hardly. The best? No ... that's nostalgia speaking.

I remember getting the game and being bored of it in a month, because there was nothing left to do. Including multi-player.

I've never come across another FPS that got me wanting to replay the missions as much as Goldeneye. Doing them in record times on different difficulties to unlock cheats, and being able to pick each one easily from the menu, really was a great idea that worked wonderfully as far as replayability goes. It was also the first FPS I came across that felt "real" - you were playing in the real world and using real weapons, not sci-fi or historical settings like the others before it. Its hard to pin down exactly what it was about Goldeneye that made so many people play it for so long (we played it for years before we got bored of it), but not many games seem to have such universal and lasting appeal.

Goldeneye 007 is the Halo 2 killer of N64..... <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Yeah, i guess it might just be nastalgia that makes it seem amazing. I do agree with the replayability too. I can remember playing the same damn level over and over again just to get paintball cheat and speed cheat. That game was amazing.

I guess the reason why it was played for years and never really got old was the fact there wasn't any other decent real FPS games out there. But as soon as Prefect Dark came out I got tired of Goldeneye pretty quickly. I loved in PD how they put in Complex from Goldeneye. It was like 10x better with the new player models and guns. I didn't lkie how they got rid of the secret wall cut out room type things when they made the PD complex.

no sci-fi weapons? what about the moonraker laser you got? you also got golden weapons that were uber powerful. no historical? the last mission was based in an egyptian temple. you cant get any more historical then that. though you are right alot of the weapons were from real world.

but hell that was the best game i ever played other then HL and HL2. i loved that game.

James bond is now just a cash in, and has no gaming value anymore. I mean really, they are running out ideas to blame the Russians for plots to take over the world, so they turn to Korea

WTF?
