but the asteroids mass is infintesmal compared to the earth so it wouldnt have the same effect

Perhaps we could slow it down and maybe it will enter Earth's orbit. If its made of obsidian or Iron the we could have a pretty shiny moon. Though it might f**k up0 the tides a bit and perhaps flod the Earth.

I am aware of that dark.

I have a theory that perhaps our skin cells would evolve to somehow create clorofilm (the chemical that converts sunlight to energy). That way our skin cells create energy to power themselves, thus allowing our brains to take in more energy and become more powerful.
