Also, I think purchasing options will become better after DoD:S has come out. I'm sure, they'll have a way to purchase that seperatly.
I hope so. I imagine most punters who've bought HL2 have the bronze retail version, so Valve would be limiting their potential audience somewhat if the purchasing options are not sorted out.

yeah when is DOD:S and HL2:Aftermath coming out? DOD:S was meant for spring and aftermath for this summer. but spring is already history and summer is nearly up and none of them have appeared.

The original Half Life is still my all time favorite game. It was
amazing the first time playing it. The story was immersive and full of
plot twists. The game was also pretty long.

Have not read this whole thread yet but, if it were not mentioned yet every Wal-Mart I have ever been in has a copy of HL1. Try looking there.

By golly, I have seen it in both Wal-Mart and Hastings. Do you want me to see if I can locate it and send it to you Satchmo?

You wont be able to buy the original Half-Life because it was in one of
them old boxes. Now they use the bigger cases and you wont find
just Half Life on its own in one of them.

Thanks Underdog. I'll check my local Wal-Mart first. If I
don't find it, I'll let you know whether you can ship me a copy.
I'll give my friend a call too. He has a free copy that he wants to give me.

So you're checking Wal-Mart, to see if you can buy the game, when a friend is offering his for free?
