We have a boobies thread, a real love story, a phobia thread. Why not have a food thread?
I realise that everything listed below makes me a hippocrate since i was bitching about E-numbers so there's no need to point that out.

Super Noodles: mmm, heart clogging
Cold Ambrosia Devon Custard: The problem with this is after i've gorged myself in a bowl of this stuff, i go off and vomit, ironic eh?
Fried Rice in sweet and sour sauce: I love rice <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
Sweet and sour chicken and rice: I also love chicken.
Tate Lyles Golden Syryp: This stuff is godlike when just eaten out of the tin, when the spoon goes in heaven explodes and your teeth rot <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
Cheese toastie in the pan: This stuff is sooo good. Its a sort of mix of egg, cheese, mustard, milk and flour and when grilled is sooo good.
Coca-Cola and Diet Coke: I drink this stuff by the litre, its good.
Nestle Double Cream Chocolate: mmmmm, creamy.
Subway: Mmmm, healthy and fast.

Enough of my silly food, lets hear about the tastes of the common pitters.

Chips and gravy with plenty of bread and butter. Butter, mind, none of that polunsaturated, pale yellow scrape made popular by health freaks and emaciated veggies.

I've got two categories: things you can get in US and things in UK.

US

  1. Beef Lo Mein/General Chicken From Bamboo House in Willow Springs, MO.
  2. Imo's Pizza
  3. Canned Tamales/Ravioli
  4. Taco Bell
  5. My Grandma's Beef Stroganoff
  6. Buffalo Wings (From my dad and I or from Poor Richard's in St. Louis)
  7. Indian Food. (curry)

UK

  1. Cadbury Crunchie
  2. Those little "fudge" candy bars, Ben from Scotland called them "Fingers o fudge" Dunno what they're really called tho.
  3. Heinz Golden Syrup Treacle/Spotted Dick/Sticky Toffee
  4. Maynards
  5. Walker's Crisps
  6. REAL chips with salt, malt vinegar, catsup and salad creme.
  7. Most of the menu @ Wetherspoon's (even the vegetarian stuff)

Most of you will say, "Dag, that s**t's nasty!" because it's mostly pre-packaged or resurant food, but i LOVE IT!

Anything with tabasco sauce on it; cheese on toast, fish, steak, burgers, hotdogs, pot noodles.

I'm addicted to that stuff. If I don't sweat, its not hot enough. Not as nice on the way out though.

Go on! We understand <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> I disgust Fish myself, so I can never eat it :S

Anyway, number one - grilled meat! Especially pork. Not fat, but real meat. Also, grilled wieners. (dunno if that's the right word, but sausages sure are <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">)
I also find bor? (a russian soup) admireable. I can't get enough of it.

Then... actually there is something that beats ALL of them. Big Mac <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif"> (lol). And fries <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> I can NEVER get enough of it if I had the chance... :P

Is there a sushi restaurant in Inverness - do they sell locally caught fish?

I tried raw fish on a Scottish fishing trip once (mackerel and pollack) and found it insipid, though nowhere near as gruesome as I'd imagined. Wouldn't tuna soaked in strong dark soy sauce taste of strong dark soy sauce?
