Water polo is a good sport. Dunking is a great cure for bottled up anger.

I have tremendous respect for water polo players. I played for about 1 and a half years but quit because I couldn't hack it and just went back to swimming. I'm just not aggressive enough, and my legs weren't strong enough, and I didn't have a strong shot. It's a tough sport and is often overlooked.

As for all the negative bashing that's going on in this thread, I think that's all ridiculous. Every sport that has been mentioned in this thread thus far requires athleticism, talent, and dedication.

I take your point, Rival, but that wasn't my intention at all. What I said was said tongue-in-cheek, I was hoping to generate a bit of good natured banter back and forth - which I enjoy - as does Agent Smith it seems.
The trouble with communicating in print is that the tone of a statement can be mis-interpreted. I'm fairly certain that I wouldn't have offended anyone if they had heard what I said.

Fatty, You've never played water polo, + the correct Spelling is F?tbol.

Don't mess with keved, he's gustavo!

Also, It does seem a lot like the userd from other countries like to bash America. Just because we only speak one language and we start "international conflicts" doesn't mean that we're all bad. And, you gotta admit, we're pretty damn important...

And about the whole football/baseball thing... try actually going to the arena and watching it, it looses alot over the tele

You know I do <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">!

I think the problem with sport related threads is that it brings the sport rage out in some people, like SuperCobra who's been slagging off everyone who doesn't play sport.

I don't mind sport, but I'm generally not that great a fan, particularly of contact sports like football and rugby because of the meat head nature of them and the players. I'm more interested in obscure sports and swimming, but damn if watching them isn't boring <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">.

American foot ball is called grid iron, which is really annoying, in the fact that the method of scoring is called a touchdown, when they don't even actually put the ball down, like in Rugby-Union/League (Australian/English).

Not sure if I've said this here before, but pro table tennis is awesome to watch.
