Nah, though perhaps it would be a good idea to have it so that the
"release version" title (eg. alpha, beta, final) changes based on the
map progress meter. So anything below 50% is alpha, below 100% is beta,
and 100% is complete.

Yes, that was my thought exactly. Another idea that I had was that perhaps someone who is experienced in mapping/modding could create a small tutorial explaining the proper labeling of versions for maps. Most people (myself included) don't really understand when a map is in alpha or beta stage, or when to name it 1.0, 2.0, etc as opposed to 1.0, 1.5, 1.45, etc. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but it's somewhat annoying when you see maps that have _b26 after their names!
