Hi,

I was wondering if there is some way to make my progress bar say 1% alpha instead of 1% beta, because I am nowhere near beta stage, and am obsessive-compulsive and like for my progress bar to be accurate. :P

Thanks for the help!

Nah, though perhaps it would be a good idea to have it so that the "release version" title (eg. alpha, beta, final) changes based on the map progress meter. So anything below 50% is alpha, below 100% is beta, and 100% is complete.

Ah, ok. That works out perfectly then. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Well, it would do if it were implemented <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> I'll suggest it to Lep and see what he thinks; I'm sure it would be easy enough for him to do and I think everybody is in agreement that beta isn't really a fitting term to apply to a map that is only 10% complete.

Yes, that was my thought exactly. Another idea that I had was that perhaps someone who is experienced in mapping/modding could create a small tutorial explaining the proper labeling of versions for maps. Most people (myself included) don't really understand when a map is in alpha or beta stage, or when to name it 1.0, 2.0, etc as opposed to 1.0, 1.5, 1.45, etc. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but it's somewhat annoying when you see maps that have _b26 after their names!
