These are of my house, one month after the fact.

turn right after you walk in the front door.

My dinning room looking into the guest bathroom, our small porch was to
the right that is where "they" think the fire started. There was
a glass table where that chair is and the wooden chair to the right was
a Nocoshima (sp?) worth around $10,000.

some pictures I mounted a few days before the fire, waist of 2 hours.

and my room, just some fire and water damage. Some kids got in
through the window and stole my xbox, dreamcast, and N64 (along with
Super Smash Brothers!!).
It smells bad too

Yikes.
On a side note ... was there a wall infront of that water heater/furnace/whatever that is before?
On the up side ... I suppose the current state of your ex-home would be a good source of textures.

Yeah I'm going to use the broken plaster walls in a map I'm working on.
As for the water heater, there were folding doors there, they juet
happen to be open. There was no fire in my room, just smoke and
all the water that was dumbed on the fire (it all ended up in my room,
hence the mold on the far wall)

I like the first picture the most.
I was really surprised. I went like "Right. His house just burned down. Happens all the time to me as well. So don'T be surprised"
What the heck happened? Or did I just miss it?

Wow, the first picture I didnt realize was an upward shot from stairs.
I was tilting my head left and looking at it.. like it was a view of
your living room / kitchen with the sun coming in on the right and
pictures that had fallen down on the floor...

Lol....I thought the same thing while it was loading! I was like....God...rotate your pictures first!
Also, did you apply a filter to any of those pictures? The seem awfully blue....
..and of course, sorry about your house and games....

I'm thinking your house would be a cool looking dm map. The gameplay might suck, but It'd look cool.
Anyway, I too like the first and last pictures.

Indeed. It sucks about the house, but I think the thing to do is to create an entire texture pack based on it. Call it burnout or something. Perfect for DoD:Source, if it ever comes out.

Some people are like slinkys...
They aren?t really good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one tumbles down the stairs.

My house has alot of good game play elements, great vertical gameplay
(there are lots of knee walls looking into the living room) the roof
would be cool to play on...
I'll go back later and take more pictures

Sorry about your plight, and it really hits home when I see the pictures.
You are a good photographer though. They are very well composed.
I think the texture pack (if it's ever made) should be called "ashes". It's what the G-Man said during the introduction sequence of Half-Life 2--"wake up and smell the ashes".

good idea! Not to worry, I have a weak connection to objects so
the loss of all my stuff isn't a huge deal. Its worse for me to
see my mom so upset, but even still she is getting over it well.

Pic 1 is really nice. Mounting that picture in pic 3 was not a waste of
2 hours, you didn't know that your house would burn down.
