SpiKeRs, as good as Rose of Sharyn may be, I don't really consider it to be beautiful- its more moving and emotional, but I suppose it depends what you consider the term beautiful is, which we should have established at the start. Also, it doesn't help that Killswitch can't spell what thier writing about

As for November rain- can't stand the first bit, but love it after the bride dies and slash does his cool solos- great song writing, really has the emotion.

That song was The Proclaimers, a one-hit wonder, not The Pretenders, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

While a lot of the songs people listed I enjoy, some of them just don't come as raw beauty to me. In particular, I'm going to call out the people listing "The Joker." It's a fun song that I love to sing along to, but it's not beautiful.

A few of the ones I consider beautiful:

Vast - Touched
Radiohead - Exit Music (for a film)
Alice in Chains - Nutshell
Moby feat. Sinead O'Connor - Harbour
Smashing Pumpkins - For Martha
Ben Folds Five - Evaporated

[5] Pink Floyd - Shine on you crazy diamond (part 1+2) (on the "Whish you were here") | this makes about 30 minutes of music
[4] Micheal Penn - Macy day parade (Godzilla soundrack)
[3] Selig - Knocking on heaven's door (Knoking on heaven's door soundrack)
[2] Goo goo Dolls - Iris (City of angels soundtrack)
[1] Dido - Closer (Bonustrack) (On the "Life for rent") | this song just makes me shiver. I'ts plain simple, easy to play, and so grazy beautiful; my dear.


Never try to be perfect - just try it and make the best out of it
