Nah, I like my Windows XP OS the way it is. I don't want stock listings or anything else flashing across my desktop.
My desktop is clean, spanking clean.

I hate all those "bars" that ppl wanna install on my system. They don't help ANYTHING and they just give u ads and flash stock quotes and "news" up when you're trying to play Quake 3...

I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

There's no ads on this at all, and while personally I'm not using it I can still appreciate the fact that's a well designed program, and free of bloat. It integrates perfectly with Google Talk and you can use it for RSS feeds, which I know nothing about. You can disable the stocks and news, and even add semi-useful things like memory monitors and the like. Don't be so dismissive Nickle.

Its not a scroller, its made to help keep your desktop clean and remove the clutter. Not only that you can plug RSS feeds into it. Its not a bar.. its a sidebar, like this program. http://www.desktopsidebar.com/ and a lot of people use this.. and heck even the new Windows uses a side bar ( Longhorn ).
Here is an image of Longhorn and its sidebar. http://www.scotsnewsletter.com/art/59/lh_01.jpg
I guess no one even botherd to read what it is or looked at it, they just assumed.. How mature. thanks for giving me the time of day.

I have no idea how old it is.. yeah its called Vista now.. so I am sure pretty old.
Some may see it as clutter and some as a way to organize the stuff you use most into one area for ease of use.

Oh, my yes. What clutter this silly program causes!
Come on guys. You can customize it to do whatever you want. I have email, weather, the scratch pad, and stock quotes because those are the things I was interested in. You don't even need to operate it as a sidebar. It can be as small as a system tray icon, and the best part about it is that it allows you to search your computer in less than a second rather than the 15-30 min it takes windows to do it normaly!

Some people are like slinkys...
They aren?t really good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one tumbles down the stairs.
