Just finishing up a project for playstation2, at Insomniac games (Ratchet:Deadlocked). I'm not abliged to spill the beans on any future projects, but we will obviously be sticking with Sony and playstation.
As for the technical aspects of development, I am fairly clueless. I do know that our engine programmers work all kinds of magic with the PS2. It's amazing what kind of power can be squeezed out of that system. Just take a look at our previous games for PS2, (Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and clank: Going Commando, Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal), IMO all very beautiful games.
I'm sure it will be a while before the true power of next gen consoles will be realized. Everything I have heard, makes me think that only the best of the best will be able to fully utilize the multiprocessors.
