The UD site is painfully slow. I don't know what the deal is but its been hard to play any of my 3 characters.

I'm just chilling in Spurdell Walk Police Dept in Havercroft with Ding and Mephs.

My fireman is alone in Raines Hills.

My zombie is laying dead and headshotted somewhere, wishing he had ankle grab.

At the moment, I'm still in Spurdell Walk Police Dept in Havercroft. I'm just sitting there gaining APs and then spending them searching for ammo and stuff.

I'm sending my zombie towards Riddleybank... which is 100% zombie controlled, so if you want to attempt to attack it you can <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

My other char is with loco.

Okay, I just started heading west towards Nichols Mall - BAD IDEA. Full of 60+ zombies. Ran away, hope they aren't tracking me. Are there any safe malls around the eastern center of the city?

I found a cell phone. It says in the wiki that these will enable long distance communication when the city power is restored. The only power station in the city seems to be located at Pickford Park [99, 87] and Knill Towers [99, 88] according to the World View map.

Wonder if the power can be restored there...

From what I remember looking at the wiki, they haven't implemented cell phones fully yet, and so the power stations are an "excuse" for not having cell phones working yet. I have a feeling that the power cill be restored when the creators/admins enable them! I could of course, be completely wrong. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Nope you're right. There's a lot of stuff that's in the game but hasn't been "activated" yet.

Apparently you can find gas cans and they're rumored to be used for chainsaws... when they're added.

Blech, I'm going back east - less zombies, friendlier survivors.

There used to be 4 SnarkPitters in that station (plus me), now there are 2. Where is everyone!?!

The station's been heavily barricaded so unless you have free running, you can't get in.

Wait, free-running gets you into heavily-barricaded buildings? Gahhh!

if you get in a building next to it then click on it it will
but if you just make it heavily barricaded only humans can get in so have someone weaken the barricad

Yeah free running lets you run from rooftop to rooftop basically. Find a building that is very strongly barricaded (or less barricaded) and then without leaving the building keep click on neighboring buildings. You will travel through them without wandering the streets.

It's a very useful skill, just don't stay where you're not wanted. Sometimes very heavily barricaded buildings are host to some paranoid and violent hermits.

I haven't been PKed yet, but I've had to ask nicely to stay a few times.

As for the status of my characters...

Bill Waterson is still in the PD in Havercroft and he's going to go on a zombie hunting run so he can get some XP. I really need free-running and bargain shopping so I can get into that mall and take advantage of the gun-stores inside.

T Boardman is resting in a tower somewhere in Raines Hills.

My zombie character is part of a large mob shambling about Pegton.

I can't get the site to respond and its pissing me off. I'm sitting on full APs and they need to get spent!

.... this game is consuming my life.... i've started thinking about what i would do if zombies became a reality.

hmmm... i smell a new thread.
