AtM, how can you gain experience while being in a building?

And Nickelplate, let's kick them zombie arses together when I arrive. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

Well when I said I was going to try to level up here, I meant in the general area. Not in the building itself. I usually leave the building, walk a few spaces, find a zombie to attack... use up 40 APs attacking, and then go back and hide.

I just started another character. Bill Waterson. He's a military private, and former ex-cartoonist. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

He's in Jensentown and I'll steadily try to work my way down to you guys. With either of my two characters, but not both. I don't want to get banned.

You can attack people inside the buildings... but you only get half XP for attacking other survivors (which means its really not worth it if you're just trying to level up).

Nickelplate, did you happen to catch the guides I posted?

I caught the guides you posted, I am at work and haven't got a chance to read 'em yet. Don't worry your pretty head about this, I will read them.

I'm roaming around in Pegton at the moment, searching for First Aid kits and also survivors to heal. Once I get Diagnosis, I'll be sure to head your way - maybe we could meet up and crush some zombie skulls! <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

Bill's made it to Chudleyton so far. I'm holed up in a Police Dept. looking for extra clips. I ran out of turns today because I tried to access the site more than 160 times today ( it wouldn't load so I kept reloading... boo ).

I'll still head south and find you guys.

Wouldn't Costco be the ideal place to go? Assuming it wasn't full of infected people/zombies.

You've got food, fortification (one way in and out, with one or two side doors), weapons. A large building to pick off zombies from.

Well ... unless you got your ass up to the mountains with supplies.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Just discovered that a zombie was attacking me. I suppose hiding in a junkyard wasn't a good idea. Not far away from nickel now though, I'll get to you as soon as I have a few more action points.

It's pretty dang cool, but i run out of points WAY too quickly. Right now, I'm just trying to stock up on supplies. We need to form our own group. and take over a suburb.

I'm a level 9 soldier currently stationed in Ruddlebank. I have my own personal building that's extremely heavily barricaded and within like 7 spaces of two police stations, a hospital, a necrotech building, and a shopping mall... unfortunately I have to travel like 20 turns before finding any zombies to kill so there's not alot of danger or action.

I'm toying with the idea of going on a mass player killing spree but I don't want to lose my precious Yak Fighter

Every time something happens that gives me additional cause to hate humanity I add another room to my Half-Life level.

Hmm.. maybe instead of turning on your fellow man you should set out anew and look for a fresh area to roam and cleanse of zombies.

Speaking of losing characters... the one I just started is in a police station with no AP's and I'm pretty sure we're about to be overrun. Great!

I'm still at "Lukinswood in the Jensen BLVD police dept" I go outside and use up my AP's and then come back inside to rest. Waiting on Snarkpitters.

We really should take over a suburb.

I'm at the Shea Arms in Lukinswood. I went to the Jensen BLVD police dept but it was heavily barricaded so I never even tried to get in, so I hurried back a few blocks to where a few other survivors were. Is there any way to get into those heavily barricaded buildings?

Is there a point to having a contact list set up? And what's the easiest way to add people to it?

Hamish McMeph, firefighter. I'm over in Fryerbank, so I doubt I'll get to the "base of operations" any time soon.

I'm pretty sure once you get the Free Running skill you can get into those heavily barricaded buildings. My firefighter in Chancelwood just got it, but I have yet to check it out.

The game's alright, but imagin if it was 3d real time. It'd be like Vampire the Mascrade Online.
