Sigs can be quite artistic, and I admire them for their beauty and as technical acheivements.

However, for practical reasons, I am super annoyed by them. In those forums that allow fancy sigs, I have a hard time finding the actual content of the post sometimes. I have to scroll slowly just to find the text (and sometimes it's just a couple of words).

In addition, those huge sigs take up a lot of space. So an entire screen can just have one or two posts because most of the space is taken up by the sigs.

One-liners are the best. Succinct and to the point.

those don't look all to hard to make, you just made an outer glow on the copy pasted and scaled down snark pit thing. then wrote snark pit user and colored the first letter, in a custom font. And then you used a inner shadow or a gradient gold backround.

Yeah I like the slim Ones too. very nice.

Windows I am very busy with work, lots of over time.. because were so under staffed.. but I am working on a sig for you. I will also try and make a slim one too, as I really like the way they look.

I like the pill and the faded AR_. However the font is crowding the image. I would move the pill up and center the text.

The top one, is for a halloween sig comp, and the bottom one is one I made to go with my catch phrase I have here.

How can I make them better?

Ok Morhpine I am going to dim the eye down some.. yeah I felt it may be too bright as well.. kinda like a Light house and less like a evil glow.

The pulsating light from the eye is almost blinding. Perhaps you could try a different color and see if it looke better? Perhaps red? Or purple?

I really like the lightning.. you got the effect spot on. The rain looks pretty good too.

I love that tag-line on your second one.

Perhaps you could add some scan lines across the blue background? Nothing too complex but something that will just give it a sense of texture as opposed to just a solid color.

Or perhaps instead of a flashing light you could have a bloody tear run down. Over and over like he was crying blood. That's pretty spooky but probably much harder to pull off.
