Forget sending my future self an email, I'd like to send one to my past self.

Hmm wow actually quite a good question. I would use it were it not for
the fact I dont like the idea of my personal feelings stored somewhere
on somebodys database.

They had us do something similar freshman year of highschool - write a letter to yourself 10 years from now.

I remember doing this kind of thing in my 7:th grade in school and got
it back at 9:th grade. It was really fashinating to read his long
mis-spelled letter with stuff that i thought was important at that time
and compare it with how i saw things 2 years later.
I remember thinking something like "Man I must have been a pain in the ass." =P.

This is all supposing that you still have the same email address in the future. I did the same thing as mazey in high school, but that was more lame 'cause it's not like I'd still have that letter 10 years later...

Nice idea. Sent one to myself 5 years into the future. Hope I still have the same e-mail address by then.

I was going to send one too, but then I realized that I have to type in
my "real" email address. Granted, I'm probably not going to get
spammed for this, but I am still reluctant to divulge this information.
Perhaps I am just a paranoid about junk mail and identity theft.

Yeah, I do this from time to time, in the form of a to-do list.
