Well, a year ago, my life contained four things:

School
Friends
Girlfriend
The computer.

However since i dont do any excercise at school anymore i've started karate and i got very suprised on how fun it was. It feels great to train your whole body, agility,speed and mind, not just the muscles. I thought i hated everything that had to do with sports until I started Karate. So, now ive added one more thing to the list:

School
Friends
Girlfriend
Karate
Much less time by the computer

* College - I'm in my final year, and can't wait to get done with it.
* Driving - Riding my motorbike, actually. I just can't get enough of it. Pity that petrol is getting way too expensive <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">
* Hobbies - took up my old love for martial arts again recently.
* Goofing off - can be very time consuming if done right. My one true passion.

I went 24 hour paintballing once, it was phat, me and two other guys got chased up this river valley for about 2 hours by a squad of 7 or 8 enemys, we had a part of the doomsday device so it was a pretty hairy, just me and my mate made it out there, we took out 3 of their guys but it was about 3am and light was nothing.

school, going out with friends either to the cinema or wherever, and the computer.
come to think of it in dont have much of a life

What do I do?

  • Work 40-hrs a week
  • go to College full-time
  • build hotrods
  • Map for HL2
  • Drive long distnces to both work and school
  • get all my money taken by big corporations and the government because I'm a single white male whose parents make more than $70,000 a year.

Man, I feel so inadequate. I don't really do anything productive, I just realized. I go home and drink coke and skate.

Uh... not much... I do music... I'm a small time pianist... and I practice kung-fu on my own... oh, and I forgot to mention I excercise powerballs... and learn magic.... and write a filmscript... and a book... in fact two books... and read... fiction...

There is no such thing as "kung-fu" TBH. Every class teaches a small subset of the various styles of martial arts that make up the so called Chinese Wushu . These styles have fixed practice methods that you must learn from a proper master, since there is no way you can think up the exact same things on your own.

Only after you master the basics, which can take ages, can you even dream about composing your own technique. I have never heard of anyone doing this in ~7 years of experience.

Anyway, in case you have been trying to teach yourself hand-to-hand combat, stop now. You'll learn nothing useful, and you can also hurt yourself greivously, and permanently, in the process.
