So, I haven't made a thread in a while. So I decided to make one that doesn't completely suck.

So, what do you guys do other then sit on the computer and map? College? Job? Girlfriend?

I really don't have a life, but I'd say that I mostly go to school, or am working.

id like to say that i practice my drums and bass alot but i havent
in the summer i lifeguard at a boyscout camp
basically other than that i spend alot of time scouting

Most of the time I'm doing something on my comp like watching movies/series/anime, playing games, trying to model or something else equally useless.

Other than that I'm going to school and just generally hoping for a better life.

I've been getting into BB Gun wargames.
I have been playing with about 12 real people! (as opposed to PC and NET which i have a lame as 56k modem for) theres a few derilect X millitary bunkers in my town and we been smoken and enjoyin games like King of the hill (king gets the 200round clip Shotgun BB gun, oh wanktastically good) and team capture the flag, its set up a bit like Battlefeild PC game with objective points and respawn points. all the people I play with are mad HL and BattleFeild players, its really funny how you see there PC tactics and traits come out on the real feild.

IF theres anyone in Wellington NZ that wants to play then please get in contact with me as it will be a fun smoky day.

during the holidays or occasionally through the year: gaming, mapping, working

Well Paint balls are undoubtabley better! but...

BB gun costs about $20 - $80NZ
Paintball Gun excluding gas costs about $150 - $800

Also if you want to go paint balling you generally need to book in advance and go for a set time. with our games, we do it on a wim, go for as long as we like and it costs us a sh*t load less, although there is always the debat over if you were shot or not, but its all fun and games in the end.

And you can mod a BB gun that only cost you $50. My opinion: If you have access to paintballing Go For It, if it will never happen get a cheap bb gun, they are great for lightbulbs. my flat is constantly in the dark

be sure to wear glasses. i accidentally shot a friend of mine in the eye +-7 years ago. it turned out to be okay but it could have been devastating.

I usually end up skateboarding, playing guitar, going places with my girlfriend, snowboarding (weather permitting) or just general hanging out at the local skatepark with my friends quoting Family Guy <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

I go to uni, I play table tennis sometimes. Thats about it.

I spend a lot of time in class or reading or doing homework for class.

Other than that I think I spend most of my time with friends. Most of the time its just hanging out but sometimes we play burnout, and sometimes we go and toss the frisbee. Every Friday and Saturday I go and get drunk and play Beruit and dance occasionally.

In a month most of my free time will be taken up by swim season.

Occasionally I draw, but most of the time I spend listening to music, which I love.

Satch... what organization do you work with? I live in the LA area, and have been thinking of doing some type of volunteer work. I called the salvation army, but didn't get a very enthusiastic vibe. Looking for something hands on, working with others, weekend type stuff. Curious to know what all is out there.

I enjoy....

- driving

- drinking the occasional import or microbrewed beer

- dating, flirting, fornicating.

- beating my body back into some state of health, through various excruciating forms of exercise.

Well my time is mostly divided between a) school b) computer and c) flight school (the only thing that keeps me going) and, as of next year, d) driving school .

I kinda have two lives - uni life, and home life. Oddly enough, while most people would associate the uni life wth the partying and fun, for me it is completely the other way around.

At uni, I'm studying for a BSc Hons in Computer Games Technology at the University of Abertay, Dundee. I'm in my 4th and final year, so starting on my honours project (well I say starting, I mean considering starting <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">). My flatmates past and present have all been coursemates, and considering my course, its no great surprise that my uni life hasn't been filled with party animals or copious numbers of females! In my spare time at uni, I chill with my flatmates, dabble in level design/game design/modelling (though not recently), watch downloaded anime/TV shows, play many many games, head to the union or the odd gig with some other mates, and thats about it. Feels kinda shallow this year, though it never bothered me in the past. I guess before I had 5 flatmates, now I only have 2, so its getting lonely or something <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif"> Typically this year I'm only heading out about once a fortnight, though that wasn't much higher in the past.

At home on the other hand, life is a whole lot different. Having lived there my whole life I know pretty much everyone, which means there is normally something going on. Be it chilling at one of the pubs with a group of mates, going to my mates' band's gigs, heading to Edinburgh for a few nights out, going to the cinema, bowling, introducing some mates to long long nights of compulsive anime watching, or just sitting at the beach and knocking back a few bottles. Oh and still plenty of gaming, of course <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
