I just ordered Black & White 2. It looks like an immense game - Rome: TW style battles, pretty great graphics and my favorite: a complete physics engine.
It should pop through my letterbox in between 5 to 7 days, ill post screenshots as soon as i can.
Has anyone else been eagerly awaiting this? Anyone getting it? If so, what are your thoughts?

I remember Black&White... It was nice, but I'm not too excited
about this. Suppose I'll get the game if it shows out to be a huge
success or once the price has gone down.

Holy f**k, that's really cheap. Nice
effort converting it into Swedish currency aswell! It's "Kronor" though.

Oh yea, I mean like: "That's more of an effort than anybody else would have made, checking up the lastest conversion rates."

I preordered it in August some time ... it's being shipped to my house suppose to get it any day ... I don't think I'm overstepping any bounds, but if someone wants the Tiger creature, let me know, I'll host the patch. If you buy the Collectors Edition in the UK you get it already.

I remember there was a time, before I had the game, I saw a tips and
tricks guide for it and it just made the game sound so much fun, I felt
that I had to have it ther, then , and now; not now then really.
But I slowly forgot about it untill I found oit on the 10$ shelf at
Walmart, packaged with its expansion pack. I got it, was pretty
fun at first, but as the game became repetitive, and the villagers
being so stupid not knowing when to stop cutting down trees, the game
just became annoying.
Unforunatly, I can't play the old game any more, doesn't want to work with my Pent 4, no matter what I try.

Reviews haven't been hugely positive so far from what I've seen - 1up
gave it 50% and Eurogamer gave it 60%. The more "generous" game review
sites (eg. IGN and Gamespot) are giving it from 80% to 90%, but to be
honest from the problems pointed out in the more critical reviews, it
doesn't quite sound like it deserves those scores. The game doesn't
really appeal to me too much but hopefully one of my flatmates will
pick up a copy for me to check out

Ive been playing the game for three hours now, and I must say im very dissapointed, again.
Since you have armies, the focus has been removed from your pet.
Making armies move and stuff is quite a pain since you have to select each army separately, as far as i understood..
During my three hours of gametest it seemed like the only thing i was
doing was creating a bigger city, and nothing else. I tried using
armies to attack enemys and such, but that was boring too. The armies
was moving too fast for me to keep track on them and i had problems
giving them orders.
You dont need to convince other villages with your powers anymore, i
dont even think you can. Just keep building a bigger city and they will
join you soon enough.
The mystique of the game has been reduced even more with all the menus,
metres, numbers and dialogs that tells you exactly what is going on. I
kinda prefer if you remove those parts.
The creature is less fun to play with aswell. You can now easily give
it orders to do exactly what you want it to do. For example, if my pet
eats food from a field. I only need to encurage the creature once to
make it understand that it always should eat food from a field. This
makes it much easier to teach it right from wrong, which i thought was
the most funny thing i Black and white 1.
I have always been amazed by AI and because of this, i like to unleash
the creature and let it roam the lands while studying it. However as i
mentioned, they have added dialogs and info boxes to everything
included what the creature is thinking, all the time. This removes the
mustique and fun of just sitting and watch the creature.
Some might find the game really fun, but i dont, and im glad i didnt buy it.
If you have any questions regarding the game then ask me.
