We once had a meeting with a lot of Belgian Team Fortress Classic clans, to play our favorite game in real life.

i bet guys like YellinD, Desorted, ... were also present . i met YellinD at Yellow Fever a few years ago and i 've seen Desorted a few times at parties here in leuven last year. You're still in a tfc clan nowadays ?

Wel, most of SSK was present. YellinD was there for sure (he's a memorable guy), Raven, Brucie, Cerbz, Fax, ...

Upper row: YellinD, Raven, (don't remember) the one with the silly hat is fax.
Down row : Me, Beau, (don't remember)

Your paintball field is so green and grassy. The one I played on was full of sand and rocks. It must be a lot better crawling around in the grassy knoll than the rocky surface.

still nothing like it. me and my friends are going to organise a huge paintball-fest with like twenty people one of these days. that will be fun.

snows fun
but cold paintballs hurt more
i remember playing in the snow and there was a guy there who was all decked out in white
he looked like one of the guys on a snow recon from a marine commercial

You know what's really stupid ? When you get instructions, every tutor is saying: don't pick up fallen, non-exploded bullets to use them again. As soon as they hit the ground and lie there for a while, they start to absorb water, or something like that, which makes them as a hard as a small rock.

Some dumbasses pick up those hard paint balls, and use them again. A normal ball goes splatter on your head, but those hard ones ... ouch.

Ever been in an simulated combat excercise with real weapons(using blanks). Heh. That's really something. Real equipment, real conditions the only thing that isn't real is the hits. They even had a score board. I made it to the top 5 with most of kills. That was mostly caused by the fact that I got separated from my squad couple of times and found myself surrounded by the enemy. There's nothing else to do in that situation than hide yourself the best you can and fire at the enemy until you run out of ammunition...

it doesnt really hurt that much, unless youre fat or are wearing no shirt or something

just wear baggy clothing like cammies or something, they will slow the bullet down

It doesn't hurt that much, but the hits do leave bruises and welts on the body for a week or so.

My recommendation is to wear gloves and knee pads. They really help to protect your body from the terrain.
