I've been away from the community for a while working on several
projects, but this one really got me inspired and I decided to try and
make it "one of those maps". You know, the ones that become textbook
examples of what a map should be like. Long story short, I was doing
some research for a terrorist skin for
the Black September group (1972 Munich Olympics, killed 11 Israeli
athletes and 1 German cop), and I was inspired to make a map based on
the apartment the athletes were staying in. Is anyone interested in
helping me make a VERY high detail and professional looking map that
would go down in history as the BEST custom map ever made. I am going
to be very selective and may choose only one or two people from here,
since I am posting in several of the main CS:S mapping communities, so
dont take offence if you are not chosen. Post in here and I will review
your work. Good luck!
[EDIT] I didnt know which topic to post in, please feel free to move if another place is more appropriate.

Problems:
(1) Based on real life situation
(2) Claims of making "best ever"
(3) Trying to be really "selective"

Ya know this place really helps with critiques, we comment on the
design and how it should be changed or altered. Its up to you to come
up with the concept, and there is little people can do 1000s of miles
away from one another. If you are inspired then just start mapping. If
you are a total new person to mapping then we can help you get started,
but the overall feel look of the map is up to you.
And I have to agree with Maze's comment, (2) Claims of making "best custom map ever". I doubt it, there is no "best", there is just good design.
Other than that good luck.

How do we know you YOU are so proffessional then?
Judging by the only map you have uploaded here, you dont seem to be that professional.

So, got anything done already that you can show? It's not a matter of
choosing from the best, it's a matter of the best choosing you...

And they'll only choose you when they think it's not a waste of time. So, show how good you are before recruiting.

Give me a sec, I'm just warming up my flamethrower
" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">.
On a serious note, I wouldn't recommend making an exact replica of the event or layout, since they usually aren't suited to the gameplay. Or try it in a game like Swat 4. I tried making a replica of the Iranian Embassy hostage siege in London, but abandoned it because they layout just didn't suit CS.

really, if you need help, it's better just to post the problems one at a time in the editing forums, and you'll get pointed in the right direction. you learn how to do it for yourself that way, too.

Oh yeah.
I can argue on "making the exact copy is a bad idea", since I am making one of those maps and looking it from real life - it is very gameplay wise, IF and only IF there is lots of debris to cover. (it's a dods map).
Anyway, if you want someone to join up or something, you first have to prove yourself to them. If you are looking for the good ones that is to say.
Here are lots of good ones but I'm afraid we don't really know you nor your work.
But other than that... good luck
