In all honesty, I'm voting for a comet. I'm assuming that by the
end of the world, you mean the destruction of intelligent life (humans)
rather than the actual destruction of the Earth.
I voted for a comet hitting earth, because it's happened before, and
it's going to happen again. It will easily erradicate all
humans.
However, if you really mean the destruction of the Earth itself, most
likely it will be the sun exploding, because we know for a fact that it
will happen, and the Earth will most likely make it that long (whether
or not we will is a different issue) considering it's been through tons
of s**t already.

yeah, anyway i voted NUCLEAR WINTER for the hell of it, its probably not going to happen but its a good way to show that it's very possible if North Korea or any other nuclear possesing places get hostile in anyway.

I voted for the greenhouse effect, although Jeb killing-off everyone with nukes is an interesting option.
And our sun hasn't enough mass to turn into a black hole. My guess is it will (eventually) turn into a white dwarf.

Even if you magically took away the sun and replaced it with a black hole of the same mass, the earth would continue on its exact same orbit. The only difference is that it would get a bit dark and cold here.
Black holes only "suck up" those objects unfortunate enough to cross into their event horizon, but otherwise they just act like point masses. Considering how frikkin huge space is compared to the size of a black hole's event horizon, black holes very rarely actually "eat up" stars/planets/etc. Mostly that only happens when galaxies collide, and even then the amount of stars consumed is really really small compared to the total number of stars in a galaxy.
So... the chances of getting sucked up by a black hole before the end of the universe are pretty damn small.

The sun can't "explode". It's also too small to become a black hole. It'd become a dwarf (or quasar, I don't remember which). After it goes through the red giant phase, which, if I remember correctly, would engulf the Earth. But, yes, Black Holes have an orbit ... they are spinning after all.
As for how our race will end ... I don't think it'd happen any time soon. Even if we started getting killed out by meteors or disease, it would fluctuate back to a comfortable habitat.
Hell, even if humans were abolished, eventually, the environment would become what it once was and would probably start cycles over then in another 40 million years from that we'd be asking the same damn questions.

And by a "bit" you mean so-cold-it-will-kill-everythin-anyway cold? If the sun was removed what would the temperature be anyway? Kelvins please.

When I said the sun exploding, I really meant when it expands and engulfs the Earth, and we'll be enjoying a heat wave.

The only example of an astral body
being sucked into a black hole that comes to mind is the Cygnus X-1
star system. It's a binary system composed out of a small blue star and
a black hole. Matter from the star is attracted by the hole and forms a
disc around it's center, emitting powerful radiation in the process.
