i need a program, that will cut an file into smaller chunks..

say a 50 megs file into 4 equal sized ones..

anyone have an idea how i could do it?

yeah, winace can do it, but it makes files in 1.5 meg chunks, and that would be around 30 files .. i need about chunks of the 15 megs range..

doesnt that make 1.5 meg chuncks too..

i could be mixing up ace and rar , cause i have them both..

now it is possible, there is an option to rar i am unaware of..

I dunno, dont use it. but I remember downloading something in fairly large pieces for rar I think. [addsig]

undisker 1.2 is an iso building/reading prog that works on about any file type or size.....not quite sure what yer after, but this might help....

this tiny, itty bitty program, split a 49 meg program to 14 meg chunks in 3 seconds flat, PLUS it has an exe to reassemble it again PLUS it offers the receiver the option of obtaining the program so they can use it too..

i highly recommend this program if you need some files split..

lep, we may need to add this url to the ones of value if we ever create a files page that is
