What occupation do your parents have? Just a general intrest question. Do both your parents work? Also, do you support yourself (ie: you have your own job, house etc) or do your parents support you?

My mom owns a little business and my dad's a chartered-secretary.
I am supported by them too.

I would love to change the world, But they would'nt give me the source code.

My mum is a secretary and my dad is an oil production technician who works on rigs. He's currently out in Azerbaijan working month on/month off. I'm completely supported by my parents while I'm a full time student at uni.

My mom is a Chinese school teacher in the United States, she teaches four days a week. She doesn't make too much money, but she loves teaching.

My dad is retired. He used to be the public relations officer at the postal services in Taiwan.

I am a pediatrician, and my wife is a software consultant. We are both financially independent.

My mom is an architect and my dad is a structural engineer and both are professors. They both work in the same building. On the same corridor for that matter. And so do my brother and his wife who are architects too and so will I since I will become an architect as well. Family curse.

Both my parents are retired. They used to be international investment bankers.

Me parents divorced last year ( I was 13 ) and my mom doesn't make much money, so things are super tight right now.

I was a paper boy for awhile, a baseball ump for awhile, and now I do nothing <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

Frenchy, consider lifeguarding, its the cushiest job ever. Plus you can work on a tan while you're getting paid.

Mom works at SuperStore as customer service

I have been self supported for many years, just recently moved into my dads house to get things sorted out before i go back looking for a place of my own (things got screwyand friends lost their job so we had to move out of the apartment we were in). Wanna know something crazy too? I'm only 18.

.

I used to work at "Stone containers, Missouri State containers, Wonder State box and Tate containers". All over a 20 year period. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Making corrugated containers is one of those jobs someone will always need a product from. Your dad has job security. Don't laugh. Someday you may find out what the lack of that feels like. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

I am thinking Pre-Smurfit. I worked for them in 1987. Was a small factory in Temple Texas. It was shortly after they bought out a competitor from that time period.

I do however know the name Smurfit. As I recall, one or the other bought it out. Since Stone is still around I am thinking Stone is the one who bought Smurfit.
