You can attribute it to luck or God or Darwin or my 1337 skillz, but I truly have nver had a virus, spyware, or adware, as of thit time right now. Sure, it may be optimistic to think that i never will, i mean, yeah i do backups and everything, I've just only had to USE said backups because I or a friend deleted something on accident.

I understand you've had lots of experience with internet stuff, so have I actually. If you go to the Wayback machine, and look up "scan.missouri.org" that is an ISP that my dad started and i had the priviledge of being able to learn how it all works. The modem pool and routers and all that crap were all in my basement. and even when I had a T1 line to my house, I still did not get a virus. First of all because everyone was win98 back then and we didnt have sasser and the like, second because I never downloaded anything but music and popular games, which at that time was perfectly safe.
