what was that old mario game on gameboy with all the toys and stuff
i cant remember what it was you fought ants too i think though
i just remebered the wario games
the ones i played were pretty good

The one with ants was the 2nd one I think. 6 Golden Coins or whatever.

I have Wario Land on Virtual Boy, sweet game. The only other Wario games I have are WareWare for GCN & DS. Those are better used as drinking games.

I decided on Ocarina of Time because it has a better executed plot than Link to the Past. I don't have the two GBC games, Minish Cap, and Collection. Except I don't see much point in owning collection if you have the others. Oh yeah. Don't have Zelda 2 either image

I'll grab it on Ebay sometime.

Metroid Fusion is Super Metroid but better (A fresh spin on the franchise). And the first one has s**t for response times. Zero Mission is better (too bad it's easier too).

Prime is OKAY. Metroid 2 was pretty good too.

Also, how can you think Wind Waker is the best Zelda? Seriously. It's not a bad game or anything, but pales in comparison to ALL other Zelda games. image

I'm kind of surprised no one said the best Zelda game is "Zelda Collection"

Gorb, you don't have Four Swords. It's fun though, if you haven't played it. Requires many people for the best enjoyment.

What about Donkey Kong games? I hate the original. I'd say, disregarding nostalgia, Jungle Beat is my favorite DK game that I've played. Although, I haven't played Mario vs. Donkey Kong and I really want to play that. Looks fun.

My point was, as a game WindWaker is really okay. Have you played all the others all the way through? If you have an still think that, then okay, but otherwise, I'm very sceptical.

Has nothing to do with contradictions. If that's your favorite, fine. Go play it? <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

"Best" is usually exchanged with "favorite", so ...

ok. the only zelda i've finished is zelda 1. hehehehehehe.
i'm not really interested in other zeldas.
i've played the wind waker but my friend wanted his GC back. i didn't finish it.
that's why i say the wind waker is the best!
but actually, i can't tell which's the best.

same with metroid. i only finished metroid 1. i didn't finish metroid prime because the same reason of wind waker. i've played other metroids, but i'm not really interested... geez i'm a bad gamer.

Hey Crono, if you havn't played Zelda: The Legend of teh Minish Cap, and you own a GBA, I highly recommend you pick this game up...I would say it's one of the better Zelda games...far better than Zelda 2: Link's Adventure...YUCK image

...and HOW can you hate the original Donkey Kong???

I really loved the platformer. Key word "lovED"

Ever since the platforms moved to a 3d universal control plain, they've not been able to pull off the accurate contro elements of the 2d platforms. Im not against the games being 3D, I'd just like to view them in a 2d style off to the side so that I could have the control of the older games.

When Duke Manhaten Project came out many years back, I got it simply because it was that old sid scoll style.

In short, I liked the the fast and accurate control of the sidescollers.

Super Mario World-->Zelda: Majoras Mask--> Havn't played any metroid.

But what about the new Prince of Persia games? Enjoyable as the old 2D ones were, they don't live up to the Sands of Time and its glorious 3D freedom <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> And of course the original Tomb Raider (and to an extent, its sequels), with its tile based movement, offered the player the ability to accurately gauge Lara's movements and so know exactly how she was going to react to their input. Not ALL 3D platformers come out badly, but I agree that many of them do.

I just don't like the first donkey kong. Well. That's not true. I'd rather play one of the newer ones, is what I should have said. I have the first one too. Also have Mario Brothers.

I know Minish Cap is good :P I just don't have the money to pick it up. Not a big deal, it'll be in stores for awhile.

Link's Adventure isn't a bad game. People don't like it because it's sidescrolling ... big deal? It's still a good game.

What about Ninja Turtles? Oh man... My favorite is the arcade version of Turtles in Time (Also on the SNES, but not as pretty) Good games.

What the hell happened to games? Stupid focus on graphics.

I rmember playing Ninja Turtles on my SNES, I absolutely loved it.

Games have become less playable imo. you play it for a while and can'tdo it again, bt those old ones, well, never get old <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">
