How many bought, our are going to buy (somehow), an XBox 360 within the first 24 hours of release.

You know, I've actually got nothing to say

Voted No. I don't think I'm going to buy any consoles anytime soon. I may when the dust settles and a clear winner is declared, but until then I'll stick with what I've already got.

Nope - I refuse to give any more money to Microsoft, especially on a console that I wont use much. I play PC way too much to use a console.
Ill only buy one when the price goes down (less than 250$) or when Halo 3 is released (which I doubt will happen)
The console I want however is the PS3 with the continuation of the Final Fantasy series (when it comes out)

I own a LOT of consoles. And yet, this generation of consoles hasn't interested me. Perhaps when they get in the <$300CDN range I'll buy one. But paying $500+ for a system that currently has about 6 games...no thanks.

I'm also not a person who sells their systems and games, so I don't do and don't believe in trading in my stuff. Perhaps if I wasn't a collector I would sacrifice my collection for a new console, but it feels like such a waste to me. I love hunting for bargains and used games, but I hate sifting through the gazillion Maddens and other assorted frat boy titles that get resold back.

I agree with Gorbachev, but I'm also not as hyped about this generation as well because it doesn't look to me like the huge leap like before between PS1 and PS2. Or maybe I have just gotten too used to Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Fear and other games.

I voted no.

Actually I wasn't aware of the release. But I wan't going to by one at all.

Ain't got no money. And no time to play it. But I'd like Super Street Fighter II Turbo for my sNES; because I have no game I can play with more than one player, exept Tetris 2... and that's boring sometimes

Yeah, I just wanted to see if there was anybody here that was crazy enough to try to wait in line for three days to buy a $400 console. I'm not that hyped up abought consoles anymore, but I always leave an open eye.

By the way, fanboys are furies that there is no Halo 3 for launch. However, the release of Perfect Dark Zero is expected to be the next Halo. Will just have to eait and see.

Oh yeah, voted No for those who wanted to know. I'm not crazy enough to fight the lines. Maybe if I had an amped up grav gun to take out the people, it'd be a different story.

I had only just realize that I don't know if it was released in Europe yet. Sorry guys. But just vote away the long lines to the abyss that is Microsoft.

You doubt Halo 3 is going to be released? You do realise that Halo 2 ended on a cliffhanger and....well, OBVIOUSLY Halo 3 will be released given it is such a cash cow?! What makes you doubt it will be released?

Myself, I'd love an Xbox 360 but I won't be getting one for quite a while. First price drop at the earliest most likely. There are a handful of games I'd love to get my hands on right away -- PGR3 most notably, but also Ridge Racer 6, Amped 3, Condemned, DOA4, Kameo, and the nicer version of NFS:MW -- but I don't have the cash to buy it and as I've no job, I won't do for a fair while!

I dunno, but we had HUNDREDS of people camped outside of Best Buy and WalMart overnight, just so they could be first in line to get this abominable Box of the X which you speak of.

$400...yikes!!!

I've never understood people who spend 400$ on a box dedicated for playing games with long loading times and small levels... Not to mention the high price tags on those games...

Yeah. I remember back when the PSX came out, a lot of RPG fanatics flipped out, because FFVII was going to be on it. So, they sold all their SNES games (Including all those marvelous RPGs) and got a game that severely disappointed (Comparatively speaking).

I got a lot of good RPGs for cheap that way image

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Yeah, I got a PSX because of FFVII, but more because of Jet Moto 2. VII brought me back to the series, I owned the first one since I was 4, but really didn't play many RPGs until PSX came out and I got one in 96/97.

Ok, I'm not sure if I mean offence, but if you bought it now, you really are stupid. The v1 of Xbox always messes up- don't you remember v1 Xbox 1? It scratched discs, was a bastard to chip, and broke down incredibly quickly.

I've heard that one of the main reviewers for the 360 actually crashed it whilst playing PGR3! Seriously, wait a few months till the next motherboard and bios are released etc, it'll be far more stable and last a lot longer! My Xbox1 is a v1.2 I think, and it's still running good and happy, despite it being a US one plugged through a UK-US converter, and running at a different spin cycle speed on the CD drive (apparantly the US one runs differently due to the 110v US use).

Anything can crash, you give new hardware and systems to 2+ million people you're going to find new ways really quick.
