That was my first download that I can remember, but I know for a fact that I had downloaded some games before that.

Scarily enough, Neko the Cat was one of the first games I remember playing on my OS/2 PC. That must have been ages ago...

Putting aside the old BBS days, I think it was the Quake demo. My older brother was in college at the time, and was given a dial-up account (back when 14.4 was like... WOOOOOAAA), so he let us use it. I was told we had limitted use of the net and was quite worried someone would break down the door of our house when they found out I left my computer downloading something on the internet for an hour. ^_^
