Take it with you and see if it works on the macs. If you can "install" fonts ... can you install drivers? (Hopefully, a generic usb wheel mouse driver will be present)

That'd be too much work for me. 
Btw, does anyone know how to turn of the mouse pointer acceleration function? The one that makes the mousepointer move different distances on the screen, while moving the mouse itself the same distance, depending on how fast you move the mouse.

"Control Panel >> Mouse >> Pointer Options" is the only one I know of.

I have a new hate in the world of macs the Mac Mini what a complete
waste of money you dont get a screen, keyboard or mouse with it and it
still costs about ?300.
Oh and I hate people that buy crappy lcd monitors that you have to sit 1 inch away from to beable to see what your doing.

I have used Macintosh stuff since the days when Apple II was the new thing and Oregon Trail was the coolest new game! Ever since then I have hated them. I always had a PC back home from the days of the 80/86 Tandy. I always liked my PC better...
