People have tried to help you out and I'm sorry their suggestions didn't help, but shouting at established members for doing nothing wrong when you've only been here a few weeks isn't going to win you any fans.

I am keeping track and this is strike 2 for this gentleman. One can only hope that he either finds peace soon, or commits strike 3 so we can just ignore him till he leaves.

if i had the same problem, and was able to read, i would probably have pieced together enough information from this thread to;

1. log into my steam account on someone elses computer

2. exit steam without logging out

3. copy the clientregistry.blob back to my own comp

4. see if it works

nononono there is hope!

ClientRegistry.blob in your steam folder, take that one from the computer that has internet, justmake sure to shut steam to offline mode so that it writes. Then copy thatfile over to your non internet steam.

Worked for me whan all i could access the internet with was a 233 MHz with 16 mb of ram....that was only a few months ago
