Have you seen this yet?

It's just insane. I wonder whether it really happened.

And this gotta be one of the most strange things I've seen on the internet.

It's in Japanese, but it's subtitled. The Japanese dialogue is essential in the over-the-top feel of this movie.

What do you mean? The whole thing is weird.

But the laundry room scene is indeed strange.

I've seen the exploding CPU before, that was pretty cool.

Does anyone know how to save video from Google to your HDD?

I believe google is just streaming the video form another source, you nee to track down that source.

You'd need something to check the heading sent in and out while you view the page. It's the same way you look at tracker addresses with bit torrent. Once you do that, you'll know where the thing is streamed from.

As for catching it from the page it self, that's a no go, since they load it through a flash interface. The addresses look encrypted too.

I never understood the whole, "you can stream it, but not download it" philosophy. Downloading SAVES you bandwidth and runs smoother.
Maybe they get more funding for using more bandwidth? Who knows.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

DRM, I guess. Google probably wants to restrict access to some of those TV shows they have on.

Sucks that I can't play anything from this part of the world... Bah.

The exploding CPU thing reminds me of a Virus I wanted to code (had I learnt to code) that did physical damage by effecting the bios or increasing the voltages etc of the CPU and RAM, hence destroying the PC, mwhahahaha...

I'm pretty sure that video is fake though- why would it blow a hole in the desk and through the MB? Such materials wouldn't react like that. Now I'm not sure what a CPU is made of, but-

If it contains ceramic (which lep thinks is a possibility) then it would need to reach insanely high temperatures (thousands of degrees).

Silicon doesn't explode.

Metal melts.

Unless theres some extremely wierd compound that explodes, I doubt it would do that. I personally think its staged, and the monitor is plugged into another PC which has a desktop background with that image on it or something- not hard to stage such an act.

I also noticed that the start bar was windows XP whereas the application was windows 98 bar, and the cable exiting the monitor was white, the cable entering the graphics card was black.

Isn't the second clip a parody after that old TV show The Power Rangers (or something like that)?
