There was this post about garfield comics with the thought bubbles removed on some blog. I can't find it anymore. It made Jon look completely insane, and since he isn't supposed to hear his cat think in the Garfield universe that gives the comic whole new (and much darker) side.

found it: garfield without his thought bubbles

One step further:

Garfiled without Garfield!

In this rather lengthy gametrailers video there's new info on Episode 3 (stuff that "hasn't been done in games before, graphically; guns "cooler than the portal gun") and L4D looks better and better since Turtle Rock merged with Valve (they finally got the lighting right). *drool*

And yes, CS2... *not drool*

The logical consequence to the Garfield craze:

Random Garfield!

Heh, I used the randomizer to make this comic:

Panel 1
(Jon's dressed for a date)
Garfield: Uh, Jon...
Jon: One minute she was there, and the next minute...

Panel 2
(Garfield has a full supper dish)
Jon: That looks like beef.

Panel 3
Jon: So I got this leather jacket. What you think, Garfield?

Arthur C. Clarke passed away today. Without a doubt, one of my favourite authors. He stands for all the good about the science fiction genre.

Ignorant is an adjective, not a noun.

Anyone who is pregnant, has been pregnant, could ever become pregnant, or who could ever impregnate others should not read this.
I told you not to read that.

I discovered today that if you store a Sanford 'Magic Rub' eraser with a 'White Pearl' eraser, the white eraser will soak moisture out of the magic rub, making it worse at erasing and better at smudging. If the two erasers are left in contact with one another the magic rub will dry out, shrink, and crack where they're touching, and the other eraser will swell a bit, uselessly and irritatingly.

I have a feeling this is the case for more types or eraser than just 'White Pearl,' like generic pink erasers and probably drier varieties of gum erasers. This would be less annoying if the better eraser ate the cheap eraser, not the other way around... not that erasers are particularly expensive.

=o
